Ah - just realize - do you count Brighthaven, Callambea and Phaeros into the top 10 as displayed or are we top 10 already (just not shown) and do get nothing?

Not that I really think it matters. But never occured to me the other way until I tried to fugure out why Freevale thinks it gets 3% and not 6%.

He's right, Thod. Column Q allows quick-reference of standing, and you're solidly in the Top Ten.

How does it feel to be one of the Big Ten? When we, Hammerfall, started the land rush, we figured we would probably end up in the mid/lower 20s. Yet here we are in the Big Ten with all our good buds!

The Golden Flask is the first settlement to get the bonus of 1%.

I thought it was said that the bonus just adds from week to week. So if Golden Flask stays where it is for 8 weeks and stays in the same ranking spot, they would get a total of 8% defensive bonus for week 9. Or am I wrong on that too?

Doesn't feel like Top Ten as we are not shown next to the map.

You've hit on exactly what I'm concerned about tracking. I was hoping for something that wouldn't require keeping track of where each group is each individual week, if for no other reason than the sheet's already got so very much going on.

Perhaps when we see today's results we'll get an early idea of how many folks're attempting to move to other sites. If staying puts the common trend, then tracking'll be easier.

That sounds about right - question is - if they move up to 10 in week 5 and back to 11 in week 7 what the bonus is.

But I think it really is there for the ones at the bottom to ensure they are not shifted around week after week.

I'm anticipating they'd get no bonus to a running-sum for Week 5 and 1% for Week 11. We'll end up tracking the running-sum total in column K, and folks'll be able to tell at a glance what they've earned so far, along with the calculation in column L showing them their "weighted votes".

It'll be VERY IMPORTANT for folks to leave column K alone, and not play with it, or Caldeathe will have to leave his beloved Canada and hunt people down...after changing the numbers back, of course. He's Canadian, and they have priorities.

Yeah, I still think the Big Three shouldn't be on that sidebar. I understand why they are, it's good for recruitment and stuff, but still, it hurts position 11, 12 and 13 more than it helps TEO, T7V and Aeturnum.

Maybe they could put a "HM" next to those three for Honorable Mention since they are out of the tally for the second land rush? Then the numbering would be correct.

Whoo hoo! Still herding cats on my end - I think I've got two of my guild pledges confirmed as "redeemed" (i.e., signed up properly on GoblinWorks).

That's one way of putting it. OCD and Anal come to mind as well....

You can protect cells from editing by anyone but you.

I had done that in the past with the rank column, but as soon as a cell is protected, it screws up when anyone tries to sort.
