Bonus PFS Gaming at Gen Con 2014

Hello all,

I'm arriving in Indy on Tuesday the 12 and was wondering if any other early arrivees for Gen Con would be interested in some extra Pathfinder on Wednesday? The Stink isn't until 5pm so I have pretty much all of Wednesday available. I could GM or play or both if we did a couple of scenarios.

On Wednesday there will probably be games going on in Scotty's Brewhouse.

Scotty's is usually filled with PFS as Auke pointed out. I think they have have warhorn for the events as well, but it isn't up yet if that is what they are doing.

I was going to ask if there were any off-con PFS events happening on Wednesday or later on Sunday. If there is a warhorn, I assume it will be posted on these board well before the Con?

I'm sure Chris Bonnet plans on setting up with Scotty's for Wednesday pre-con gaming. However, Indy has an convention at the end of May and another one coming up over 4th of July weekend that he has to coordinate as well (plus he's GMing at Origins in June), so it will probably be after they are done with before call out begins and a Warhorn site gets set up.

I mentioned this thread to Chris the other day - he's just a little busy at the moment.

Lots of gaming and Cons coming up in short order (as Sniggevert has indicated.)Most, if not all, of the VOs are involved in one or more of those conventions (like Chris, I am running at Origins).

I'm sure Chris will make a post or announcement when he's able.

Hey, all!

I just wanted to give a very brief update on this topic.

As the new VL around here, I offered to help organize gaming at Scotty's for Wednesday, August 13. So, my assignment is to get this organized!

We're still a little far out to put up an event on Warhorn, or to take sign-ups, and there are a number of things that have to happen before we get to that point. In looking at the past, sometimes the Warhorn didn't get posted until sometime in July, and I would hope we'd be in the same boat.

I don't have a sense of what schedule to have yet (but I am mindful that those who are GM'ing PFS at Gen Con will likely have a meeting late afternoon on that day.)

But, in the interest of keeping you up-to-date, I'm working on it! This has been a great event in the past, and I'm working to keep that going this year!

Ooo I loved this last year, one of the events I look forward to since Gen Con is taken up by lots of larps. So I need to get my PFS fix in early!
