There may well be pickup games with earlier seasons, however.
Last year, at Kyle's, I ran "Silent Tide", which is scenario 1 from season 0, for a group.
I am going to be looking to do some gaming on Thursday night, and perhaps on Sunday, and might run some earlier-season scenarios on one of those two times as well.

Sadly played it already. Ive yet to play Destiny Part 3, Weapons in the Rift, Horn of Aroden and the other just recently released one and there will be 2 more out by the looks of it by the time I get there. I have 2 characters sitting at 11 , one at 10 and one at 9 with then a huge gap down to 3.
Although I think Im going to burning my 2 gm stars for con too .. because ..why not?

So it's my first time GMing at (or even attending) PaizoCon.
What's expected of a GM as far as checking character legality is concerned? Am I expected to check that players have brought supporting documents, or should I take a more relaxed attitude (which is what we do, most of the time, at our local conventions).
I'm reluctant to be too pushy, especially given what airlines charge nowadays for a checked bag, and nobody really has time to check every single item on every character sheet. But should I at least check that everybody has their inventory tracking forms and chronicle sheets (and any relevant boons)?

If somebody uses a resource you're familiar with, no need to ask, you already know what it does. If you're not familiar, don't be afraid to ask, especially if you're less than 100% clear based on their description.
A great compromise to asking to see their chronicle sheets, is asking to see their most recent sheet. That way you can confirm they are the right level and presumably they have the rest of their sheets. Also lets you make sure the proper numbers show up on the current sheet. (Although I would recommend mentioning at the beginning and then looking at the end)
If they show up with a weird race please do ask to see the sheet. I'm really disappointed every time I play my Dhampir and nobody asks to see my cool sheet
Just do what you do at any of our BAPS cons and you'll be fine.

I generally do a quick glance at chronicles to make sure they are all filled out properly and the character is the right level. Then I ask each player if they have any really unusual abilities or extremely high bonuses for skills/attacks/saves, and ask them to tell me how they work. If it involves an additional resource or a chronicle boon, I'll confirm they have it.
I also ask anyone not wearing a "reroll" shirt if they have a folio on them, and if so to make sure it is on the table before they intend to use it. (This has the added benefit of making sure everyone at the table is aware of the reroll rule.)
