What allows a summoner to summon his eidolon on short notice?

Rules Questions

For example, when the party gets ambushed, or when he cant have his eidolon out all the time (walking in the city, etc).

I checked the spell list but i dont see a spell that lets him do that...

Grand Lodge

It's called Summon Eidolon. Second level spell with a 1 round cast time.

You'll have to expand the information you want.

Are you looking for some way to shorten the summoning ritual that takes 1 minute to perform?

Are you looking for a summoning spell that summons your eidolon? The poster above provided you the spell that will summon your eidolon for a short period of time and with s short casting time.

To shorten the summoning ritual, the only thing I can think of is a mythic ability.

The Elf Favored Class Bonus for Summoner reduces the time it takes to summon your Eidolon by 1 round, to a minimum of 1 round, so by 9th level you could summon it in the time it would take you to cast the spell mentioned above.

Oh, thanks.

I was looking for any way that would let you have your Eidolon ready to fight in a pinch.

Im guessing at level 1 theres no way to do it?

You could grab a scroll of Summon Eidolon.

Just don't roll a 1 on your caster level check.

Under "Scrolls" in the Magic Items section of the CRB:

Quote:

To have any chance of activating a scroll spell, the scroll user must meet the following requirements.

The spell must be of the correct type (arcane or divine). Arcane spellcasters (wizards, sorcerers, and bards) can only use scrolls containing arcane spells, and divine spellcasters (clerics, druids, paladins, and rangers) can only use scrolls containing divine spells. (The type of scroll a character creates is also determined by his class.)
The user must have the spell on her class list.
The user must have the requisite ability score.

If the user meets all the requirements noted above, and her caster level is at least equal to the spell's caster level, she can automatically activate the spell without a check. If she meets all three requirements but her own caster level is lower than the scroll spell's caster level, then she has to make a caster level check (DC = scroll's caster level + 1) to cast the spell successfully. If she fails, she must make a DC 5 Wisdom check to avoid a mishap (see Scroll Mishaps). A natural roll of 1 always fails, whatever the modifiers. Activating a scroll is a standard action (or the spell's casting time, whichever is longer) and it provokes attacks of opportunity exactly as casting a spell does.

So if you buy a scroll of summon eidolon at the minimum caster level (4) (which by the way costs 200 gp) - you meet all the requirements except caster level so you just make a CL check. D20+ your CL has to meet or exceed a 5.

If this is a big concern, definitely pick up the spell summon eidolon when you hit fourth level.

edit: beat to it!

Ah, my apologies. I should have said "Don't roll a 1-3 on your caster level check".
