Rules Questions

So, I was reading the Dragon Disciple stats and such and was wondering how his spells per day on certain levels work?

1. So if I'm a level 10 Sorcerer and then hit level 2 of DD, my spells per day for a Sorcerer would be those of a level 11(but my other sorc stats are the same), right?
2. So if I'm Sorc 10, DD 2. I level Sorcerer again to 11, would my spells per day on sorcerer be those of a level 11 or of a level 12 from the DD bonus?

I'm still really new to this, so sorry. Also I'm not all too sure how good Sorcerer and DD are anyways.

1. Yes.
2. Sorc 11/DD2 would cast as Sorc 12.

Okay, so basically the SpD bonus from prestige classes is applied after the caster class's no matter what order the levels were acquired in?

If it makes a difference (which it usually doesn't) you apply them in the order you gain them. In your example you would get:

Spoiler:
1 Sorcerer (casts as a Sorcerer 1)
2 Sorcerer (casts as a Sorcerer 2)
3 Sorcerer (casts as a Sorcerer 3)
4 Sorcerer (casts as a Sorcerer 4)
5 Sorcerer (casts as a Sorcerer 5)
6 Sorcerer (casts as a Sorcerer 6)
7 Sorcerer (casts as a Sorcerer 7)
8 Sorcerer (casts as a Sorcerer 8)
9 Sorcerer (casts as a Sorcerer 9)
10 Sorcerer (casts as a Sorcerer 10)
11 Dragon Disciple (casts as a Sorcerer 10)
12 Dragon Disciple (casts as a Sorcerer 11)
13 Sorcerer (casts as a Sorcerer 12)

It's spells per day AND spells known, but no other abilities.

You get the bonus spells from your draconic bloodline as well.

Yes, but those are called out separately. Other similar prestige classes do not gain this benefit.

Hence why I felt it was important to mention them for his particular example.

I know that I personally screwed this up in my Dragon Disciple.

I also now realize that my Rage Prophet (since it advances Oracle) probably still gets Cure spells for free as a bonus spell at the appropriate levels.

When you get that you get anything that your 'Spells' class feature gives you. The cure spells that Oracles get are included in that, so any PrC that advances divine caster levels will get them. You won't get your mystery spells, but a Rage Prophet gets a different set of bonus spells from that PrC.
