How do Alchemists have to rest?

Rules Questions

I'm playing an alchemist android, but I'm not sure when I have to "rest" as an alchemist, so to speak. Since androids are immune to fatigue and exhaustion they don't have to sleep, so how long exactly does an alchemist have to "rest" to refresh their extracts, if they have to rest at all?

As far as I can tell they do not have to rest, meditate or anything like that.

My first response to the thread tittle would be in a bed, but now I see what you are asking.

It does not state it so I would assume it is more like a divine caster where they do not need any rest to regain spells or in this case extracts. Just pick a time and at that same time every day his extracts renew. OF course you will probably be under the same restriction that any slots used within the last eight hours are not available the following day when the rest renew.

I am not too versed on Alchemists so hopefully someone else has a more insightful answer for you.

Extracts are good for one day after preparation. You essentially have to 'rest' to replenish them after they hit their expiration date.

Yes, no rest required other than to stave off fatigue. They aren't actually casters, which is an important distinction.
