Mythic - Legendary Item - Intelligent ability

Rules Questions

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The first time you select this ability do you get to select one of the special abilities?

For example if I selected the Legendary Item - Intelligent ability three times with Spell casting taken each time possible, would it be:

Example 1:
Intelligent ability
Intelligent ability - Spell casting 5 points
Intelligent ability - Spell casting 5 points (total of 10 points)

or

Example 2:
Intelligent ability - Spell casting 5 points
Intelligent ability - Spell casting 5 points
Intelligent ability - Spell casting 5 points (total of 15 points)

Which one is correct?

The first example is correct. The first time you select this ability, you get the base properties of an intelligent legendary item. The second time you select it, you gain the increases and one of the special abilities (in this case spellcasting).

That's about what I figured, but thought I would throw it out just to make sure.

Thanks for the speedy reply Stephen, I appreciate it!
