Race; Elf
Class; Druid
Companion; Undecided, possibly Lion
Ability Scores; str 11, dex 13, con 6, int 2, wis 2, cha 14
Notes;
Possibly a future 1-level dip into Monk for the 'Double,Monk' Quarterstaff ability + a Bonus Feat (Two-Weapon Fighting for the Quarterstaff??)
Needs;
- Suggestions on the Ability Scores. Remember, I'm restricted to a 15 point buy.
- Feats. Bottom line. I've never played anything other than a Ranger and Rogue (for a short time).
- Any other gear/equipment/weapons I ought to buy? Thus far he's carrying Hide armor with a Quarterstaff and a Spear for ranged attacks. OH! And the Druid's Kit as well :)
Okay, fellow nerds and nerdettes. Have fun!

I'm not sure what you mean by the double monk quarter staff ability
Also your bonus feat from monk has to be chosen from the list they give you
What kind of Druid are you aiming at being...caster or wildshape focused? If caster are you going to be support, controller, or looking at trying to blast? If wildshape do you have a specific animal you want to be most of the time?
I played a wildshape focused Druid before that had dipped monk 2 levels so I could have wisdom to my AC...also the +3 to all saves is nice
I had a mountain lion companion (big cat) and focused on being one myself...and focused on me and the companion pouncing and grappling
More info on WHAT you want to be helps us give you suggestions :)

You have an int and wis of 2 and a con of 6? Is that a typo? Because even with a 15 point buy, you could have 3 10s and 3 14s before racial modifiers.
About the quarter staff, double means you can use it as a double weapon (aka TWF). And the monk property means you can flurry with that weapon instead of using unarmed strikes.

My advice is don't. Elves make terrible druids, especially at low point buys. Int is not quite a dump stat, but it's close and dex is the least important physical stat for combat druids and not terribly important for casters either. You need a stat bonus in wisdom or strength.
I also suggest a domain not a companion. The companion is relatively better at low point buy, but having it means you need handle animal which interferes with dumping charisma and may force you to put points in intelligence to get the skills you need. Being prevented from dumping your normal dump stat is like dropping to 11 point buy, which sucks. If it also forces you to take 12 int instead of 10 it's like dropping to 9 point buy, which is dismal.

Ah, yes. It was a typo. Sorry, I'll update it!

Con dump? Got a character plan B?
Lol yea, if you dump con, you should expect to die pretty quick. I'd lower int and cha a bit and get your con up to 10. If I recall correctly, a druid only uses cha for handle animal. And at 1st lv a druid with 10 cha and 1 point into the skill, has a +8 towards handle animal checks involving their animal companion. And at 4th lv, if you put their stat increase into int, they will be able to understand spoken commands.
Another thing, does it have to be an elf? Because the racial stats aren't helping you.
As an elf I would go for something like this.
11 str, 12 dex, 10 con, 14 int, 16 wis, 10 cha

This is what I would do:
Strength 11
Dexterity 16
Constitution 12
Intelligence 10
Wisdom 16
Charisma 7
If you want to be a caster druid you can swap the animal companion for a domain and then just dump charisma. Dexterity should be high because you have more armor restrictions so you won't have the AC of a cleric for a while and it helps with touch attacks. I wish Wisdom was higher, but for a 15 point buy and a race without a wisdom boost it's doable. You might consider changing to a half elf for the flavor AND the flexible boost to wisdom.

I suggest you look at a dwarf if you want to be casting focused.
Spend 10 points on Wisdom and 5 on con. Pehaps dump 2 from str to boost dex. And then cast spells an rely on a Big cat on the low levels and later cast spells from the fastes flying form you have.
Half orc is also a good choice they have a floating stat increase and a great favored class bonus.
In a 15 point game it is, from an optimisation point of view, hard to cover several bases and expencive with a race that dosent support the class.
It can be done and you will still be a full caster but it will not be the stuff of legends.
If you want to be a melee druid dwarf and half orc are still the way to go. Just focus put 5 in str con and wis and bump str if you are half orc or 10 in str and 2 in CN and 3 in wis if dwarf.
Start out with a Big weapon, both dwarfs and half orcs get them, and work with the Big Cat. When Wild shape comes along you will be Rolling.

A caster oriented druid wants to stay single classed for the earlier spell access and the higher DCs. From archetypes, Menhir Savant makes for a great caster druid because of Place Magic, as well as the Swamp Druid (especially in the right terrain) because of Pond Scum and even more because of Slippery (continuous freedom of movement!).
You need a really high Wisdom, like 17 or 18 before racial modifiers, along with at least 14 Dex and at least 12 Con. Humans make for the best race, but dwarfs come close second.
It is better if you chose a domain for more casting per day. Good domains include the Desert Domain, the Cave Domain and the Swamp domain or even better the Frog domain if you want to stay in theme. From subdomains look at the Caves (Earth), Wind (Air), Oceans (Water) and Ash (Fire).
I believe that I would prefer the Frog domain so I could take the Improved Familiar later on for access to the Faerie Dragon. Then I would give it wands for better action economy.
