a LINK to the past

Ok so here is the concept I have come up with for a buddy of mine that loves link...

We are playing a dwarf based campaign coming up soon and I told him I was going to help him build link from link to the past, we are starting at lvl 7

I have it built as a fighter 6 alchemist 1 with vital strike to give the bombs a little umph. Whirlwind attack for the spin attack and some custom items with gm approval.

How would you build him as a lvl 7 dwarf?

Give him levels in ranger, with Favored Enemy (Pots)

Link doesn't really match any class, but if I had to make him, I would go with paladin. He has the divine power of the triforce, and he usually has to have his bombs and potions made by someone else.

Honestly, I have seen him made as a bard and as a ranger before, or even as a multiclass.

Ranger makes more sense to me.

Fighter would be ideal for those crazy combat maneuvers he can pull off.

Being a Dwarf? Not what I would expect.

What's the point buy? Wealth?
If you want a build I kinda need these things....

I think 20 pb and wealth will be lvl 8 gold for ease of replacement (it is a 1 shot that the gms have said to bring 4 characters) so 33000 gp I think

lvl 7) Weapon Specialization

Build would be sword and board, most likely with a longsword, with max ranks into UMD.
