The exclamation point lets you know the item is really heavy!
This? Oh nothing I just wear a crown all the time nbd
Item with incredibly powerful ability and no listing at all of times per day or duration, offered up for a pittance of gold pieces. :P

Eric Morton wrote: Hmmm. Having read through the first thirty-some-odd pages, I'm fairly sure at least one of the posters in this thread has down-voted my item for reasons that are factually incorrect. Gotta love it. I feel ya. Last year, I didn't make it, and got several posters' feedback after the fact. Among the criticisms was that I didn't specify range—turns out some folks are unfamiliar with spell ranges of "close", "medium", and "long" from the CRB and downvoted me for using one of them. :/

I've seen your item three times now and it's actually starting to grow on me. How'd you do that?

I'm impressed by the fact that the someone got superscripts and unusual ASCII chraracters to work successfully on the Paizo forum. Still made my brain hurt that someone did that for the contest, though.

Hello item. I believe we met before... in Harry Dresden's cellar.
There are some items I wouldn't wear because they offend my fashion sense. Which is almost nonexistent.

Hello there, Item that wants to be Last Leaves of the Autumn Dryad, but without the Neil Spicer mojo.
Edit: But I still ended up voting for you, as you were up agains an even worse SAK.

A religion has "tenets". An apartment complex has "tenants".

Had to go look up a word I didn't know. That happened once last year too.

I wish the author of the item with the Dr. Seuss-inspired name would have gone all in on the Dr. Seuss in the description.
I am not voting for this item no matter how many times you show it to me, paizo.com!
Fetishes. No, not that kind.

Perfect item for priests of Razmir. I like it!
I was just forced to vote for the item that I had preciously, on several occasions, voted against after reading only the title and refusing to give it any further attention.
Wondering if its the one I am on now Jacob lol
Another monkey item. Not as much mojo as some of the priors though. Versus the ACME catalog.
I would've gone with head over hand for the item slot, but otherwise a fun item.

Just voted for a terrible joke item, just to down-vote a GM nightmare item.
I mean like "OK, guys this item was used lets all end the session and I will use the next week of downtime figuring out how to resolve it." bad.

Will your item let me collect $200? Please?
Just voted for a theme song item as it was up against a cursed item *Sigh*
I saw that music item you guys keep talking about. Sweet Pharasma, what happened there? I mean how... why... and you need what to create it?

I can't help but see this thread as a giant puzzle that can only be solved by reading/voting on items until I figure out what each vague criticism refers to...

Exactly.
Second "alarm clock" item I can recall seeing. Maybe players just need livelier GMs? :p
Will it cause any problems if I stop voting on my computer at work and start up again at home? There's going to be that one pair left here unvoted-upon until I come back in the morning...
Kreniigh wrote: Will it cause any problems if I stop voting on my computer at work and start up again at home? There's going to be that one pair left here unvoted-upon until I come back in the morning... Nope! Shouldn't be a problem.
Of course the wearer will have to remove it then, or risk death at the item's good intentions.
@Kreniigh No, it will pick up where you left off. I did this morning (home--> work).
Kreniigh wrote: Will it cause any problems if I stop voting on my computer at work and start up again at home? There's going to be that one pair left here unvoted-upon until I come back in the morning... Nope. You can pick up again on whatever computer you use elsewhere.
dear lord my eyes! no really...those items ate my eyes

I always get shivery when they get to the part where they tell me how the run-down or mundane-looking item's true powers are revealed. Gets me every time.
FFS, if you want to summon or create rats so bad, just buy a Bag of Tricks. It's been right there in the book for decades.
Peter pan would approve. it looks fun.

I wonder if there's anyone enterprising enough to compile all the negative comments into some kind of auto-voting algorithm. Save us all a lot of work! ;)
