If we don't get the Bluedove flying back to us by the end of the weekend, I will run the final combats for any groups that wish to finish up and ensure chronicles come out.
I have all of her details as she is a regular (and dearly missed!) player of mine, and most of yours are above. A few players have vanished but we have the majority of the info so we should be ok.
My intent would be to fast forward the groups to the end conflict (think they are all there anyway) and get the scenario resolved. I'm just starting to need my character back :p

Yeah, I agree. I really hope she is doing okay, but real life is so much more important than this.
Even so, it would be nice to finish this up.
Come back soon, Bluedove! :)

![]() |

I hope things are going well for her.
I'll keep waiting until a conclusion comes up, one way or another.

![]() |

Family comes first, for sure, and last I heard it was looking up, so I hope all is still on the right track for her.
It would be nice to release the characters, so thanks Shifty for lending a hand!

Thanks shifty! I need this guy freed up soon for a gameday scenario, so that's cool. I wasn't going to bring it up because I didn't want Bluedove to feel bad. She's a great player and I'm kind of missing Kel being able to subtlety hit on her in the Destiny trilogy you're running. Haha.

![]() |

I will be taking a Fall Break trip with my family to Grand Canyon and Mesa Verde.
I'll likely not be able to post from Thursday to Sunday, so feel free to bot me if I'm up!

Shifty |

No worries, was just going over your details as I built up the player matrix, that's one less job for me to do!
Mate I don't have control of the threads so can't drop you off the thread but will have them deactivated once this combat ends.
On that note:
PLEASE CHECK DETAILS - I have compiled what is here and there is at least one MIA player and a few incomplete lines.

I just checked my details and noticed a mistaken email address. It should be bdunn91 @ yahoo.com.

Sweet guys, now grab the team and lets get-r-done!
Alpha has just ganked the guy, the other teams are only a round or two away!
On a side note, I have cleared it with the co-ordinator, and these sessions will be recorded under Game Day IV, which means as teams complete I will be running extra boon rolls (per GDIV rules).
I will be rolling them as GM first, players per character name in alphabetical order - a 1 or a 20 will get a boon.

![]() |

There's a couple of mistakes in the tables, concerning my character:
- Character name and player name should be switched
- Aznive is level 2 currently, instead of level 1
- I will send you my e-mail address by PM. Would prefer to not have it public on the boards here.

Alpha
your session has been reported/sent, and your sheets emailed.
The session is under Bluedove but I have provided the reporting folks
my contact details if there is any questions etc.
Ayjee your sheet has been linked in PM.
I will get your thread closed off when I process the rest.

BOON ROLLS

Thanks shifty! Hanzo needed to be free by November so you really helped me out.
I hope everything is going well with bluedove. She's definitely missed here.

What do you mean, the report's been submitted? I'm not as familiar with GM duties in PFS, but I imagined any reports would have had to wait until the end. What if a character died in the final battle?
My feelings are hard to explain, but under the circumstances that we're resuming, I just don't even feel like trying to decide what my character would do.
We're close to the end, and I agree everyone's earned the right to finish it for their credit. I don't want to disrupt the encounter for them, and I don't want my character DMPC'd, so I'd rather just drop out. And even though I've played through so far, I wouldn't expect credit if I'm not contributing in the final encounter. I wouldn't feel like that was fair to the others.

As the Game Day reports are centralised, the report for your table (being at a reportable stage) has been done so, especially in the light that as the reporting process is being done through intermediaries and thus delayed, it is necessary to ensure the organisers are appraised of your progress. Detail changes (such as the 'dead') tick button aren't such a problem to get adjusted once those details are on system. If you died in the battle then your (to be issued) Chronicle will reflect that and it is easy to get one button pushed on your behalf.
You have completed 3 or more encounters and thus 1XP is applicable etc. You can drop out, however as you have completed the session (effectively in full) it is still reportable as such.
My only suggestion is that if you really feel that strongly you may bow out, and I'll send a message on your behalf to the coords, but I am not certain they would allow it.

My feelings are hard to explain, but under the circumstances that we're resuming, I just don't even feel like trying to decide what my character would do.
I was uncertain about a GM 'stepping in' to complete the scenario, but from an 'outside the box' perspective, it should be a good thing for bluedove -- it takes a lot of stress off of her and allows her to focus on the important task at hand.
Shifty, bluedove will get GM credit for this, right?

Shifty |

Gms stepping in to complete scenarios is an all too common occurrence for games in a variety of stages for a variety of reasons. You see them fairly frequently looking for gms. It is common, and there is a process for it.
Prior to me doing so I asked if that was fine with you guys, and that was after pm img, emailing, and facebooking the Gm - who i know to be a good player (but no response yet I'd also add)
To make sure it was on the up and up I also ran it by the campaign coord, explained the situation, got clearance to roll it into game day so you'd get a crack at extra boons, complied your stats and sorted out your chronicles.
Not a bad word said.
The custom and practice says the reporting Gm gets the credits, however this has also been addressed by splitting them so both parties get not only credits but both parties also get boon rolls and also the seasonal Gm bonus sheet. Which I already have from other sessions but she doesn't. She gets a shiny assimar boon. Cool stuff.
I've also made my details available for the inevitable follow ups and boon prize allocations for the groups.
So I have to say I find the tone and complaining after the fact very disappointing.

If you're referring to the "26" bit well, there's a fair number more. Mostly I GM games, so I've got tons of character ideas running through my head all the time. I picked up a PbP AP game here on the boards that lost it's GM a few months back so I kinda have a clue as to the amount of work you had ahead of you when you took on the task and appreciate it.

I am very grateful for the step in! I do feel bad for bluedove and sincerely hope things are looking up for her. I don't think this takes away from that at all - in fact, as a GM, I am happy to see there are those that would be willing to step in and cover for me if something caused me to drop out suddenly. So kudos to Shifty!
I am not sure I understand Random's concern - we were literally a few rounds from finished, and I don't see the downside to being rewarded for the scenario. He didn't die, I don't believe he used up a lot of resources, and no one else gets hurt by his getting credit even if he doesn't feel like he contributed. Maybe there is something else behind it that he doesn't feel like sharing? I can't imagine what, unless he has the character in another game already, and even that I wouldn't blame him given the circumstance. If he just doesn't want the character DM controlled, well I guess I can see that, but the scenario is over already, so it seems like that ship has sailed.
Anyway, I hope you both find a fair settlement, but in any case, I am happy to move forward and thank Shifty for letting that happen!

I was at a con this weekend, GMing...ran into -41. Guy has played all scenarios and modules, and most APs up through Season 6 and most of Season 7 already...and he has GM'd most of the scenarios, as well. Also has 8 core characters in there...And I thought my 17 was a lot....

Wei Ji the Learner |

No complaints on you, mate, you've been awesome on all fronts, and then some. Stepping up to get us over the goal line was huge and significant. Even with the die roller being the piece of work that it is.
The greater concern there imo would have been if we'd spent the time playing the scenario, learned all about it, then no play credit was applied but we all the the scenario 'burnt' for play.
There was a different 'on-going' campaign I was affiliated with for several years that'd do that very kind of thing, and then browbeat a person if they said 'um, wtf, mate'.
If it came off as a complaint, Shifty, please accept my apologies!
EDIT: Someone's at 41????? Holy crappin' alt-itis, Batman! *thought he was bad pushing into the mid-teens....*

Wei Ji the Learner |

All good Wei - we got there in the end and it was an interesting scenario. And you are right, nothing worse than it being a no score and people drifting away - then nobody gets squat but bad memories.
And enjoy your S7 funky boon!
If there's a thing with that boon, it's 'where do I *put it*. So *many* possibilities.
GM Hills: ...3 or 4 *retired* characters (as in 12+?)...
*thinks* Wow.

Thanks for finishing things up. That's one less thing for Bluedove to concern herself with.
