Swashbuckler = Bonus Combat Feats?

So the Swashbuckler archetype for the Rogue class says that "In addition, she may take the combat trick rogue talent up to two times."

Does this mean that you can pick an additional 2 combat feats (which is what's given by the Combat Trick rogue talent) at first level if you play a Swashbuckler rogue?

No it doesn't, the swashbuckler archetype only allows you to be able to take a rogue talent, in this case combat trick, twice. It does not give it to you for free at first level.
The only way to have combat trick twice at first level is to be a human and use both of your starting feats to take Extra Rogue Talent twice.

No, it means exactly what it says.

Normally you can only take any Rogue Talent only once. This archetype changes that general rule by allowing you to take the Combat Trick Talent twice.

You can reap any benefit from that line of rules at 1st level since you don't get Rogue Talents until 2nd level.

What you could do is take Combat Trick at 2nd, then take it again at 4th (or spend a feat on Extra Rogue Talent at 3rd, but that would be kind of pointless).

Actually, that won't work either. You can't take Extra Rogue Talent until you get at least one Rogue Talent, which doesn't happen until 2.

Pro Tip: The Swashbuckler is a good archetype because Rogue Talents suck and feats are generally better. Which, yeah, means Rogues are pretty weak in general.

You can't take the Extra Rogue Talent feat at 1st level since it requires the Rogue Talent class feature, and you don't get that class feature until 2nd level rogue.

That is true isn't it, I haven't looked at the feat in awhile since as you stated rogue talents aren't very good.

So the consensus is that it does NOT grant an additional two combat feats, regardless of the wording on Extra Trick and such?

Not sure where you're getting that interpretation from in the first place. It literally says you can pick the combat trick rogue talent twice. It says nothing about granting bonus feats and it says nothing about gaining rogue talents at first level. The archetype overrides the Rogue Talent clause that a rogue talent cannot be selected multiple times unless it states otherwise.

Martial Training (Ex): At 1st level, the swashbuckler may select one martial weapon to add to her list of weapon prof iciencies. In addition, she may take the combat trick rogue talent up to two times. This ability replaces trapfinding.

The ability states you may take it multiple times but it does not give it to you for free. So yes the consensus thus far is that it does not grant an additional two combat feats.
