I know people have probably seen Brewer's Reach Cleric guide by now. I'm curious could the same build in ways work for a druid? Sure you'd have to take a Shaman archetype but a reach lion shaman druid might be pretty sweet. Especially with the AC or Heroism domain. What do people think?
P.s. Also of note a reach-alchemist?

Yes it is possible but not so practical early game. Go Saurian Shaman and take the Ferocity (assosiated with Strenght) subdomain. You will want to fight either with a quarterstaff because of Shillelagh or with the natural weapons you can adopt at 2nd lvl. Cast on yourself Enlarge person form your domain and you have a reach Druid. You can do this better at the 6th lvl when you can Wild Shape in an Allosaurus with 15 feet reach.

im level 13, so pracicality early is out the window. Though I was hoping to get a better weapon than natural or staves. Maybe go half elf and use ancestral arms to pick up something awesome. Saurian is probably better, but something about dinosaurs just rubs me the wrong way...Lions are much more regal.

You can't use animal growth on yourself because it's a polymorph spell.
You need to get an actual weapon proficiency to do reach before level 6, and at level 6 I believe your only option is the dire hyena. At level 8 most huge animals have 15' reach, but that's really too late.
As feat starved as druids are you really have only two options: half-elf with ancestral arms or Tengu with exotic weapon proficiency for some reach weapons off the eastern weapons table. I don't think anyone else can get racial proficiency in a reach weapon.

You could reskin your Dinosaurier'S into some lesser breed of dragons, like the drakes from the monster manuals. Add a few spines, horn and maybe degenerate wings and your Allosarus becomes some kind of Drake.
Also have you considered turning yourself into a Dire Ape, wielding some Reach Weapon? You got hands and keep your feats during Wild Shape.

Being a reach druid is more about being a melee druid that changes up his tactics. Hard to pull off prior to level 6...but do you have enough spells before then to really worry about it? At that end of the level spectrum plain melee is the better choice usually. but once you start getting more wildshapes, you will be able to find something with enough reach to do well.
Now a reach alchemist a more interesting subject. With the various discoveries, you do not even need to take your hands of your longspear (default unless you go half-elf or spend a feat) u]inorder to use spells and such since you have extra limbs. I particularly like the tentacle, since it can be used like a hand, it allows you to threaten adjacent squares, and it can deal 1.5X STR and Power attack if it is your only natural weapon (thus it deals just about the same damage as your spear prior to enhancements). The fact that it has the grab property (free action grapple on a hit, with +4 to all the related checks) gives you other options, and you can grapple almost as well as a monk when you have a strength mutagen (maybe better since the bonuses are front loaded compared to feats and good old BAB).
