Mythic oracle?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I've been reading Mythic Adventures, and I've noticed that there don't seem to be a lot of options for oracles in the Hierophant Path; most of the abilities deal with altering channel energy, paladin smites, and wildshaping options, no of which the oracle has (other than a life oracle).

Is this oversight intentional, or am I missing something? Because from the looks of things, most oracles will probably choose a different path or just take most of their mythic options from the general list, which I find kind of disappointing.

You're missing quite a bit because you're thinking too much in a narrow box.

There are a LOT of options for oracles DEPENDING ON THE STYLE YOU PLAY.

Remember that if the style that you play can't be mapped wholly on to one path, one of the feats you can use is Dual-Path.

An oracle who is heavy on melee chould probably be going the Guardian, Champion, or Marshal route, possibly dual pathing to Hierophant.

Also keep in mind the Universal Path abilities. The system is designed just enough that I could probably come up with a good combo or three no mattter what kind of character you threw at me.

But lets go easy and say we're talking about a Caster focused Oracle.

For the Divine Surge, I'd pick Inspired Spell.

1st Tier abilities... Divine Guardian, Divine Countennance, Eldritch Breach. Enhance Magic Items, Mighty Summons,

3rd Tier Abilities.... Abundant Healing, Alignment Insight, Divine Metamastery, Enduring Blessing, Life Current

6th Tier Abilities....Arcane Knowledge, Overcome Curse, Undying Healer...

I haven't even touched the Universal Abilities... and if you Dual Path the number of possibilities just gets crazy good.
