Hey GM a request for our next combat, can you post the CMD's for anything we fight. My Combat Maneuvers allow extra abilities if I beat the CMD by 5 or more and I have no idea if I'm doing that. I took Improved Reposition at lvl 2 so I can move mobs around me to facilitate backstabs from Sorsha.

I'll see how this goes but I'm thinking I made a huge mistake. Looking over everyone's sheets it occurred to me that there is really no one built in the group to do melee damage....I'm pursuing a combat maneuver build that won't do much damage...I think we might find combat a bit difficult.
Perhaps I'll need a rebuild token in the future GM.
I saw that too...I'v got too much dex and not enough helpers for hard hitter stuff.

GM I've redone Niles from a free hand fighter maneuver monkey to a more traditionalesque sword/board twf melee damage monkey. Same backstory, traits.
Also, I took combat expertise..... so someone needs to allow me to exploit that by tripping (hint hint) or disarming or something.

I was about to take 1 lvl in fighter so Adria could use armor, with the plan of being a channel energy buff. At 3rd level she could get versitile channeling (chanel either pos or neg energy). Found the build in a guide online. She'd have high enough AC to wade in and blast energy all over everybody or heal allies. I'm not sure I could ever get her CMB high enough to trip things for Nilus.
i'm not a min/maxer, really. Makes my head spin. I'll take any advice.
Whatever you want to do, channeling is certainly an effective strategy but I wouldn't dilute with a fighter level. I'm no min maxer either but I don't like being ineffective. If Combat Reflexes ends up being useless I'll ask the DM if I can retrain it. I plan on going fighter all the way up so I'll have a ton of feats.
And I will say yes of course.
Its a game not a tourney.

Freakin busy weekend!
Okay, I make some adjustments to our cleric. Basically swapped Darkness Domain for Charm Domain, changed her base stats around. Changed her backstory so that it was Pharasma she escaped to instead of Calistra since that's how I've been role playing her and she isn't as charming as a clistrian.
Blah blah. Anyway, thanks for letting us adjust. I feel better about the character now.
Also, I didn't see until just today that RUNE domain gives a bonus feat: scribe scroll. So we can put cleric spells on scrolls as we go:)
Phew, birthday celebration of the last five days has finally slowed down. I understand if my lack of any posts more or less has me gone from the game, but I wanted to at least check in, let you know I wasn't just ignoring the game. Rather, I party big for my birthday and its only in a lull till I go to LA on Wed.
If I've lost my spot, that's fine, just wanted to see what's what.

If you make it through this adventure I am going to toss a pile of gold your way so you can gear up to fill in the areas you are lacking. I mean you are killing a drug dealer after all.
The selective channeling is a pretty good idea I think. Pick up a wand for healing and your good to go.
+1 dagger! Sorsha is never letting that dagger go. She may wind up sleeping with it.

Rules question. This is not clear anywhere. Do we use a weapon's +1 bonus to deliver melee touch attacks? I mean, reach out and bonk them on the helmet with my shiney new dagger to deliver a touch attack? The question never occured to be before but now that i have a cleric who likes to touch people [/joke] I'm interested in the answer!

Unless you can channel the attack through the weapon like a magus then I'd say no.
How do you guys feel about loot splitting. In the other game I'm keeping the log and we keep track of claimed value of loot. When we do a split for GP we exclude PC's who have claimed more GP value of items than the split. When the split reaches their value of claimed items, they get added to the split roster.
Ex: Adria and Sorsha claimed +1 Daggers worth about 2305gp. Nilus claimed a MW longsword worth 315 GP. Total GP value in split right now is about 4037. Math works out like this, even split is 1009 GP but the ladies got shiny magic daggers so they get excluded as their loot is greater than the split value. So the real split is 2018 Nilus got a sword so subtract -315 from his share and his share is 1703. Garrand gets 2334 total GP. At this point everyone is within 100gp of total loot so the loot log is reset. Values as such
Adria +1 Dagger 2305 looted
Sorsha +1 Dagger 2305 looted
Nilus MW Longsword 315 +1703= 2018 looted
Garrand 2334 GP looted
Nilus is a little lower but thats fine. Everyone else is pretty much equal.

The only loot Sorsha is really interested in are daggers that are better than what she has, bows that are an improvement, small sized armor that doesn't make noise, rogue specific items and anything that heals. And pretty stuff.
Believe it or not, money is largely irrelevant to her.

I'm assuming that expendables like the scrolls aren't included in that division? After all, unless they're sold, they're for the benefit of the party no one particular person. Speaking of which I think Adria should get the scrolls of bull strength.
fog cloud isn't on anyones list that I can see. The DC to cast is 20+spell level. I have +7 in Use Magic Device so I might be able to cast it but we'd probably be better off to sell it.

GM: I leveled Nilus and took Power Attack as his third level feat. I'm gonna build Nilus as a melee bruiser. Also, gonna go ahead and assume we can spend our GP now as we level up. Are there any restrictions on what we can spend our money on?

Well that was the first adventure I have made on my own in quite some time. I think it went pretty good had roleplaying lots of skill checks and some pretty tough combat.

How much to add +1 magic to my masterwork bow? I believe the book price is 2000gp. Also a MW longsword book price 315GP.
The bow you can get done for 1700. The Longsword you can get for 300. Your fame is not too great yet. You mostly managed to not get ripped off.
