Was there someone this past GenCon who did something really nice out of the blue for you? If so- let them know you appreciate it!

Here's mine:
I don't know what his handle on the boards is (if he's on them), but thank you Russell Akred (I know you're a VC, I don't know where offhand)… for giving me a hot dog because you overheard me worrying about being able to grab a bit while waiting for the HQ/marshal/Special volunteers briefing. It helped me a lot… especially since I had a busy muster point and was giving hand signals for 5 hours.

Some kind player gave me a piece of pizza that hectic slot!

Russell is, if I'm not mistaken, the Venture-Captain for Cincinnati. He is a gentleman and a scholar. :)

Thanks to Big Kyle for the BBQ sandwich after killing Caubo's character in under 30 minutes!

I'd like to thank the gentleman who was dressed in the Adam West Batman costume, not only for being an entertaining player and good sport (especially when I joined in with his buddies on ribbing him THE WHOLE GAME!), but also for bringing me Starbucks coffee for my first slot on my first day! You sir are invited to sit at one of my tables anytime! Hope you find that copper d20 that rolls well soon... the mammoth bone one did not do you well!

Thanks to Chad Newman for picking stuff up for me since I wasn't able to attend GenCon!

I may have been the one to give Chris the piece of pizza, I did give one of the VC's a piece of pizza as I was rushing myself to force around trying to find my cat-herder to assign me my table.

I was rewarded on Saturday by a fun group of guys sharing their "refreshments" during Bonekeep 2 that is until

Spoiler:
I blew us all up by setting off the Necklace of Fireballs

Russell is a great dude. Source: first hand experience. ;)

I have a few "random acts" to thank...

Big Kyle - During the special, when he heard I hadn't had time to eat, he provided a BBQ sandwich.

Marc Vanderbrink (VL Texas) - for making sure I remembered to eat between slots and escorting me around so I didn't get lost.

Angela "Magic" Pineo - awesome roomie who made sure I didn't get lost.

Matt Pemrich (VC New Mexico) - showed me around town and kept me from getting lost.

(Yes, there is a theme here. Not sure why, but I was having loads of issues keeping track of where I was).

Cheers to everyone that made Gencon '13 a cooler place to be!

There was one player during one of the musters that had a generic ticket and wanted in the game I was mustering. He was nice and started answering random questions for people so that I could get tables seated faster.. (random questions such as "What are you mustering" or "where is X game mustering"}

I had someone hand me a random Taco Bell burrito at a game after I'd just come from a long run of #5-03: The Hellknight's Feast. I needed to eat desperately, but rather than have everyone wait for me to go get some brats, he just gave me his burrito. Lifesaver!

Dude, did we run you over and cause you to almost miss a meal?

Beer is on me next year, or a burger if you prefer.

Chuckle... we didn't really run over so much as we got out at half after the hour (just on time). But with slots back-to-back like that, and trying to muster a very specific Hard Mode Waking Rune table, I didn't have time to go grab lunch (and I didn't eat breakfast).

But I'll accept a beer! Love good beer, and there is all kinds in Indy during Gen Con.

Thank you to the woman at my table who baked brownies for her GMs! I want you at my table every year. That brownie was delicious, and you were fun to game with!

I'm pretty sure she needs to sit at our table next year and bring brownies for everyone!

I'm so glad to see that people were, in general, awesome.

I would like to thank the players for letting me run Black Waters for them! Seems there was a lack of low tier tables that slot.

I love running that scenario.

I would like to thank the GM for letting me play in her table to fill it out to four players when my game didn't get players on Sunday.

Kudos also to the muster persons, they did an outstanding job.

I would like to thank the guy who traded a Seige of The Diamond City ticket for my generic tickets! It was AWESOME!

Shamrock, was it a tall guy with short brown hair? Somewhat goofy looking? Might have been me. I had a spare I ended up trading for some generics.

Just saw the post. I don't check regularly. Yes, thank you again James!
