Forbidden schools question

Is this discussed somewhere? If a wizard has forbidden schools, does the limitation apply to other spell casting classes the wizard may have?
If transmutation is one of the wizard forbidden schools, and the wizard also has cleric levels, does the cleric spell - magic weapon - take two slots?

No it does not. It applies only to wizard spells.
