"Now you have jumped the shark, if only you were able to catch a fly with pixie sticks, then you could accomplish anything....according to kender legend."
"Imagine that. Oh, dear."
Impressed that nasty can eat nearly three entire sharks by himself he thinks maybe that music from before fits nasty better......
Sharks better get out of the water.
Up ahead of you is a "T" intersection
We go 1d2 ⇒ 2 to the right.
At the end of a 20' hall, you see doors that are 15' up, using your super adventurers power you realize that there are steps leading up below this murky water...
JRR Tolkien wrote: using your super adventurers power. Aka stubbing your toe on the first step...
Climb the stairs.
Balance vs algae covered steps: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20
Alissa/TD: You make it to the top without stubbing your little toes, The stone door in front of you is locked
I pull out the key to my chastity belt and try it in the door.

"Unless that is a bathroom the odds are against that ever working."
Trap instead decides to check over the door for traps and to open it if he finds nothing...
Perception
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
Disable device
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
"Dammit AM, Stop trying to put your key in here, I am trying to open the door, we can't put two keys in one hole!"

Quote: "Dammit AM, Stop trying to put your key in here, I am trying to open the door, we can't put two keys in one hole!" Nope, not touching that
The door is not trapped and opens revealing an 80' x 80' room filled chest deep in murky water, across the room towards the east is a stairway leading to a pile of rubble...
Wait a moment. We just climbed out of nasty water (Not you Nasty), now we have to wade thru more of the stuff?
Geez, Alissa. It's not like these islanders have physics textbooks. You can't expect their temple to obey the laws of fluid dynamics if they've never been taught them.
Did I miss the shark steaks?
He walks into the water and makes his way to the rubble pile.
Nasty: The pile of rubble looks like it leads to...well more rubble. You do however notice that the water looks different in the northwest corner of the room.
What color is the water in the northwest corner?
Nasty: The water is murky green, however in the northwest corner about 10' out it begins gradually changing to a lighter shade of murky green the closer it is towards the corner
Oooooh goopy green goo! My favourite!
I cast detect slime.
Oh yeah, this place is full of slimy goodness
We are not here for you to look for a new boyfriend.
OMG, how would they even "do it"?
Plenty of lubrication...is a rule of mechanical traps...
"Yes sir when I settle down I will build all kinds of traps."

Since this question was uttered, Tvashtri has been standing over Schism explaining more than she ever knew she wanted to know about hydraulics....
Profession (Professor) + synergy bonus: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
I wasn't thinking boyfriend. I was thinking food.
*starts slurping up the green goop through her skin, with a blissful look on her face*

[dice=Profession (Professor) + synergy bonus]1d20+4 I did not understand a thing you said.
"Like when a beaver is blocking the flow, energy builds behind the plug, until it fails.....or a series of fields cut into a steppe the water from the upper field flows to the lower fields.....maybe you will never know......"
looks around for either beavus or butthead.....
It looks as if the water has a sleeping agent in it. Off in the northwest corner you all are getting glimpses of white from below the surface
*YAWN* - Hunh, what?
*Heads to white stuff.*
What do we have here?
"Could it be the elusive tiger lily?"
Perception 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
"It is a horrible carnivorous plant that lives in water and captures prey at the surface..."
tiger lily
As you get closer, you are still getting glimpses of white every once in a while.(we'll say you are five feet away)
Maybe somebody is selling snow cones.
*has finished the green goop, looking hungrily around for more*
*sighs*
Ah well. Let's see what the others are up to.
*hurries along*
Because of Jenny's cleasing of the water you all now can see what is in the corner, it is a 5' wide giant oyster, it's valve is open and it appears there is a sizable object inside
"Ooh, now this is rather more interesting...!"
Tvashtri brings his trusty Traveler's Any-Tool back out, and configuring it into a simple but sturdy jack is too simple to be child's play. He places it gently under the oyster's mantle, and bids Minimus Macabre wade in to fetch whatever's inside. Finally, he gets to watch its crude manipulating appendage face a serious field test...!
Hold it.
Knowledge Nature: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22
All you need to do is tickle it, and it will open.
*Tickles appropriate spot.*
"It is said by the wisest sages that knowing the spot is half the battle, the other half is knowing the proper way to tickle..."
"Hang on I want to see what it is too!"
TAK: You can have MM make a reflex save or he? takes Oyster: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 4, 1) = 16 and the oyster will stay closed.
Alissa: I assume this ticklish spot is inside, you too can make a reflex save or take 16 pts as the oyster closes it valve.
As you get close to what must be the largest oyster ever, you catch a glimpse of what lies within... a cylindrical black object the size of a basketball
Nothing for using a jack to prop it open?
Reflex save if really necessary: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34
TAK: Anything put near the opening of it's valve causes it to close. Either way you made the save. Besides it takes str check of 50 to open it so that better be one tough jack... Jack
Alissa: The oyster clamps down but not nearly fast enough.
