Spiritual weapon while blinded

Simple question, can you cast Spiritual Weapon at someone while blinded? The spell doesn't have a "target" field so I cannot determine for sure if I could cast it at all or if it would be a blind cast at a square or what.

You have to direct the weapon at a target. If you can pinpoint the target (not the square), then yes. If you cannot pinpoint the target, then no.

Spiritual Weapon summons a weapon that fights by your side. The spell itself doesn't target a foe. Instead, each round on your turn, you can direct the weapon to make an attack.

RedDogMT Is right about you needing to be able to pinpoint a target in order for the weapon to successfully attack.

Blindness, however, doesn't appear to prevent you from casting the spell. So you could use one of your actions while blinded to cast the spell, and have it already in effect when the blindness wears off, saving you an action that can now be used to greater effect.
