anywhere to get characters drawn?

just wondering if there is anywhere or anyone that likes doing drawings of characters if they give a description and backstory.

would be awesome to have...ive alredy went out of my way to buy a miniature of a dwarven monk :P

you could try doing a search for an online herobuilder program, or heromachine. ive played with them myself a bit they are wonky but maybe with practice it could work.

also i cant find it anymore but there was a page over at "another" (wink)

deviant art has many artists. I'm one of them, but I'm a rather terrible one, especially when coming up with concept art usually for humanish characters.

$5 gets a sketch style character portrait, an extra $5 adds a second character or more complicated background. There are other extras, but I normally just get the character and background as I love his sketch style.

So far I've ordered two portraits, and have had a GM for a game I'm in get a portrait done of my character for me. I've been happy with all three, and am about to start ordering a whole bunch more.

The third one I haven't posted yet, as I had it commissioned as a birthday/valentines day/Non-denominational-Gift-Giving-Pirate day gift for a friend, so it's not really my character post about. But I will say that I was pleased enough with that artwork that I went and had it professionally printed and framed for her.
