What did you do to be committed to Arkham?

Saw this on the HP Lovecraft Historical Society on fbook looks fun:

"How many of us have done time in Arkham Sanitarium? What were you put away for?"

Me,......it was a horrible mistake. For you see, I am completely sane.

Absolutely nothing!
I am just as sane as the next guy!
Why am I here?!

I know, right?

If that's the case, well why don't you hand me your box of pet roaches? You got no use for em!

Why would I have a box of pet roaches?

Because I look too much like my daddy.

Quit holding out on us! Freakin skinflint! Roach bogarter!

There's really no reason for me to be in here at all--they just wanted my box! But it's not fair, understand, all the progress I made is my advantage, not theirs. They want to conquer the puzzle? They'll have to start from scratch...they'll see.

It moves, you know; it adjusts for the puzzler. It'll remember my progress...I know it will. I'm wasting time here. I'm--

I'm wasting too much g$+#%&ned time! I want my tomorrow, my yesterday, and my now--not this f#~~ing cold soup!

makes a mess

mine...mine...mine...mine...

I keep telling you all, we're all trapped in a fictional universe who's ludicrous nature exists soley for other worldly beings to follow the exploits of batman, who's bruce wayne by the way, really should be obvious.

I mean seriously, the joker has killed HOW many people and not been killed? Can you even hire prison guards that haven't had a family member killed by him? Shouldn't a mob boss have lost a loved one and taken out a hit by now?

Bruce Wayne? Really? I doubt it.

Next thing you are going to try to tell me something completely preposterous, like "Clark Kent is Superman."

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Clark Kent is really Nyarlathotep.

Your mama lives in the Witch House!

Sczarni

It's a setup. It's all so that my half brother Milford can get his greedy hands on Father's estate. And I *need* that money! How else am I going to be able to build the radio tower, like Father wanted? Milford can't do it -- he doesn't even know the right coordinates! Not to mention the proper frequencies!

I'm here fore the fine cuisine. Try and get addarall and lithium croutons for your salad at that lame restaurant down town.

Sweet body-bibs, cause you know I need drool time after eating. Then time to charged back into where I left off my quantum-alchemy formulas.

This is bliss, and you all love it when I share my findings through the enlightened form of dirty limericks.
