Advice

I'm looking for advises about how to desing a character that can throw a s&~# load of daggers/throwin knife in the same round. I am thinking about the idealistic rogue which may hold 4 daggers in the same hand and throw them all around.

So my first question : is it possible to throw multiple daggers/throwing knife at the same time?

Then : does multishot apply? is it possible to throw multiple daggers if you have multiple BAB?

1: When you say at the same time, are you referring to the feat Manyshot (also relevant to question two)? If so, Manyshot only works with bows, so it's not possible to get multiple shots off of one attack with throwing knives/daggers.

2: You do get multiple throws from having higher BAB with thrown weapons, yes. You can also get extra attacks from the Two Weapon Fighting chain of feats, as well as Rapid Shot (though not Multishot).

Since you're a rogue, make sure you pick up a pair of Sniper Goggles (or the Greater version).

To do it, you need Quick Draw at a minimum for the full attack. TWF/ITWF/GTWF and Rapid Shot are all good for an extra attack. Distance Thrower is handy, but not necessary, as is Far Shot (they stack, btw).

If you go for a thrower, Fighter is typically going to be best because you can get so many of the feats so early. I would recommend that over Rogue or Ninja pretty much any day of the week.

I have a collection of sorts about different throwing builds and advice. I think this is the latest iteration.
Some things to keep in mind
dagger of doubling is going to be your friend.
Anything that can up your number of attacks, TWF, rapid shot, haste, amulet of hidden strength, wild rager (barbarian, combine with hurler).
Blinkback belt, very helpful.
A knifemaster rogue might be worth looking into.
Take the river rat trait.
At mid/high levels a two-weapon fighter with snapshot can provide some interesting ideas.
You need dex to hit but str to deal damage. A way of eliminating one will go a long way. Belt of mighty hurling or agile enchant.
Cost. Enchanting 10 weapons is not feasable, look for a way to use 1 dagger over and over. Returning enchant won't cut it :p

If you are allowed psionics I highly suggest looking there. They go a long way to addressing some of the issues of throwing.

Edit: I hyperlinked the wrong word :P

In psionics the soulknife can be very good.
Good psionic feats
Deadly throw. Deal damage with dex instead of str
Hawkeye. Increases your range.
Psionic shot. Extra damage on your daggers.
Rebounding throw. Hit two targets with 1 dagger.
Returning throw. This is the good one. A +1 distance dagger could be thrown 5 times at once even without psionic focus.
Ricochet. Retry a missed throw.
Twin throw. This is manyshot for thrown weapons.

I forgot to mention arcane strike, grant your weaps extra damage.

I didn't think quickdraw could make it possible to do multiple attacks with thrown weapon... To me it feels like letting a player with no wepons out get them out and make full attack... I dont know if its realy legit

Blink back belt will allow full throwing of weapons.

Great tip, thanks!

Quick Draw (Combat)

You can draw weapons faster than most.

Prerequisite: Base attack bonus +1.

Benefit: You can draw a weapon as a free action instead of as a move action. You can draw a hidden weapon (see the Sleight of Hand skill) as a move action.

A character who has selected this feat may throw weapons at his full normal rate of attacks (much like a character with a bow).

The feat specifically allows thrown weapons to use full rate of fire.

Throwing has always been a hard build to make, and it's especially hard in PF, which nerfed Far Shot and lacks the prestige classes that made throwing viable (Master Thrower and/or Bloodstorm Blade). You're best off going with a Fighter or Barbarian build, probably with Blinkback Belt, though that will *really* hurt now that str/dex/con being linked solely to the belt slot is the RAW of the land as of Ultimate Campaign.

I would strongly suggest asking your DM to allow some 3E prestige classes and items (gauntlets of extended range and goggles of foefinding from Magic Item Compendium are both cheap and invaluable; 3E has much looser rules for body slots and items especially if using MIC) and using 3E's Far Shot feat.

You might also want to use my Master Thrower fighter archetype which I made based off the prestige class and featuring most of its abilities.
