What exactly can the stone see, is it just the bottom of feet or does the 'sight' extend further ?
The last DM I used it with gave the stone some sort of mystical combination of blindsense & soul sense. So, 60 feet? It described the man we were looking for as heavy, yet empty (soulless). But was also able to identify a few items on the guy. Nothing we could use, but interesting fluff to learn. More of how nature would consider the man, not how a humanoid would see him.
