The joke was that James's other favourite cover is Merisiel from Pathfinder 2. And he plays female characters. So it's no surprise that the cover is a hot chick. I was expecting either new art for the Lady of the Midnight Isles or for the Risen One. We got the Risen One.

Hm, so either "Arue" or "Shalae" as nickname. I guess it'll be the first or my players will think that I can't let go of Shalelu (when it really is Ameiko I am going to miss most, heh. With Shalelu a close second, though). ^^

Personally, I'm totally going with 'Rue' as my nickname for her. It has so many possible implications.

edit: Especially as 'Arue' would sound entirely too much like the sound my circle of friends used to make to indicate extreme befuddlement.

edit: You are also ignoring one somewhat subtle thing. She's a succubus, with almost no bare skin showing!.. I'm only seeing possibly biceps besides her face being uncovered. Heck, her armor is even less boob-platey than Seela's! OMG, it's a Succubus in Sensible Armor!!!

I think the "Oh it's just another hot chick" is funny considering that the last three were an armored half orc, an armored dwarf, and a worm that walks. So saturated!!!

It is after all the war AP as well. That tends to get overlooked a great deal, but when you think about it, this is really Paizo's big war-focused AP. At least until they do another one.
