More Celestials
The Glaistig ( A Scottish satyr like creature which is a beautiful woman and uses its singing voice to lure mortals to it so it can drink their blood) Specific Fey
Boggart (An evil, more powerful brownie) Specific Fey
More mid to high level fey
More Demon Lords, Empyreal Lords, Kaiju, Great Old Ones, Colossi, and maybe stat up the other outsider paragons (Protean Lords, Archdevils, Rakshasa Immortals)
More Proteans
More Qlippoth
More Inevitables
More Pyschopomps
More Dinosaurs are always welcome
Elemental Creatures
Maybe Stats for the other dragon age categories?
And some reprints from the APs would be cool

Sovereign Court

Want to see one or two Fey Lords, but then again they do mention that they are god like beings, maybe we are not meant to know much about the feylords.

The Fey Lords are demi-gods so they can be stated.

Who said I was joking about a kaiju flumph;)

:D Fair enough!

(To be safe though, I wouldn't place any hefty bets.) ;)

I was serious about a kaiju flumph as well. I was also serious about a clockwork-Mogaru and having the stats of the Paizo golem published in a future bestiary.

How about variant unicorns? There's the white-furred good one, but haven't been there variants that match more alignments?

I've heard of the obvious black one, but also a subterran specie and even a fire-breathing one.

Also, eh eh, how about giant versions of non-predatory birds, like hummingbirds, swallows, ravens, lyrebirds and such? Sylvan creatures could use more flying mounts ;)

We have eagles and owls, but how about the rest?

I would also like to see giant hummingbirds.

I agree about more kinds of unicorns.

I would like to see a creature inspired by one I remember from the avatar the last airbender series that was a large mammal that was blind but could "see" by it's keen sense of smell and had a long tongue that could paralyze(touch attack), it was used as a mount by a bounty hunter. It could track someone by great distances and was "blinded" by strong perfumes.

Alright, guys, I covered Mesopotamia most recently, so here's the rest of the Middle East.

Dalhan- Cannibal demons that ride ostriches
Nasnas- Human/Djinn hybrids, monster and human halves split vertically down the middle
Orobon- Giant croc monster
Sandwalker- Huge crab/scorpion monster
Al- Humanoid beast monsters that attack pregnant women
Aralez- Canine beast that heels the wounded by licking them, possibly Agathion related?
Dev- Seven headed giants that shapeshift into snakes
Piatek- Mammalian beast with a beak
Tapogoz- The mythical equivalent to D&D's Biclops
Vishaps- Some kind of trickster demon
Azhdaha- Draconic guardians of treasure
Bakhtak- Nightmare causing hag
Conopenii- Fire breathing donkey monsters
Diwe- Giant horned ogres
Druj- Female deceit demons
Fulad-Zereh- Horned demon general, maybe a 2nd in command of the Divs to Ahriman?
Karkadann- People want variant Unicorns? Already brough up by Gancanagh, and awesome.
Shadhavar- Unicorn beast who attracts people with music, see above.
Yatu- Vulture demon
Evren- A dragon that shoots fire from it's tail. Charizard anyone?

Liberty's Edge

The Number Devil

Godzilla
King Kong

Literal or in all but name, because half your request has basically already been met in Bestiary 4.

Bored, so any suggestions as for what to list next?

I will need to add these to the master list, but just some quick pointers

Devs = Divs, so those guys already exist in Pathfinder

Similarly,, Azhdaha seems to be an alternative name for Dahak, who already is a god in Pathfinder. Not that you can't make that a new type of Azi...

On Sandwalker...I have always wondered if this might be a hoax creature. I can't find anything that doesn't circle back to the wikipedia article about it or a fictional 2013 book (which might have taken the monster from wikipedia!), and Sandwalker seems a very odd name for it given that most mythological creatures are known by names created in the birthplace of the legend. Not that the Sandcrawler couldn't be real or at this point might as well be real. Just wondering if it's an internet and not a folklore creation

How about hybrid's of cryptids? Or a mythical creatures that can only be killed by specific tools/weapons?

Has anyone ever mentioned The Krampus? :P

You mean the super imp that punishes naughty children, I think that would be a good addition.

There are more than enough mythological Unicorns to choose from, no need to create firebreathing pony's.

Well if you stat up the holiday fiend Krampus then you must also have stats for the Grinch;)

But, but... firebreathing ponies?! I would love to have firebreathing pony! (In bestiary, thank you. I have no place for pony, firebreathing or not in my living place)

(note to self: make a draft of firebreathing ponies)

I agree we need firebreathing ponies.

We already have a clockwork pony but we could use a robot pony and pony golem as well.

I thought pony's with petrifying gaze would be on the list?

I would like to see a flying pony that creates a giant prismatic burst when traveling at high speeds in the air;)

Ok, about the "fire-breathing pony", here's the thing: there is a site called the ENWorld Creature Catalog, which was basically a 3.5 conversion monster database from early D&D books and both Dragon and Dungeon issues of old, made by guys at ENWorld. The server is down ATM, so they're working on it to bring it back up.

This contains a truckload of critters, including variant unicorns. There is a dark variant, a coast variant, an underground variant, a desert variant and so on.

Space hamsters. With a giant variant.

MagusJanus wrote:

Dunno if Spelljammer material is available for OGL use.

Well.

Dark Unicorn = Shadhavar
Desert Unicorn = Karkadann

The Underground Unicorn isn't something I wish to see, horses aren't really for underground life. There probably is a Coast mythological unicorn as well, maybe some form of Hippocampus.

I would be seriously pissed if there would be things called Desert Unicorn or Dark Unicorn, when there are creatures with such awesome names out there.

Yeah I don't think anything from Spelljammer is available though I wouldn't mind having space hamsters in pathfinder if we could.

I would like to see more pilotable constructs.

Dragon78 wrote:

Let's all have a moment of silence for this great loss...

Hurray!

You know we could use more creatures with a petrifying gaze attack and more creatures with gaze attacks in general.

I would still like to see a monster that curses people into the form of dolls ether inanimate or animate. Maybe a percentile chance of ether one.

I like the idea a small to medium size creature that shrinks it's prey to tiny size so it can easily eat them. Also it's stomach is a dimension space like a bag of holding.

I like to see a category of constructs that are intelligent toys with different alignments and abilities. Like a good aligned Teddy Bear that protects children or an evil jack in the box that likes to scare people and gain power from fear.

A tiny evil outsider found in any evil aligned plane that is like a inky black tadpole with bat wings and a single red eye. Has a gaze attack of some kind, make it around CR1-3 range.

Dark Archive

Giant hamsters are in the ToH, so they should be fine.

Dark Archive

I would love to see more kytons including some of the overlords, I would also like to see them put in the gem dragons, and variant beholders

Silver Crusade

Bonnacon- A bull that shoots flaming crap out of it's rump. It's from real myth.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

If we see a Bonnacon, I doubt he has anything to do with crap then...

Hadhayosh is already a flaming bull so that leaves little hope for the Bonnacon...Maybe the Bonnacon will replace the Crete Bull (another fire breathing bull creature) as they are very a like and Crete Bull is a name we will never see in Pathfinder, so maybe Bonnacon can be used as its name.

Beholders are D&D property, so they will never happen.

Dark Archive

Gancanagh wrote:

:(

I like to see a creature that looks like a small size devil but is ether a CN fey or monstrous humanoid. Also the creature has magical dances that have different effects and can only communicate through dance and no I am not joking about this one.

Dark Archive

I would also like to see a nine loved cat that grows more powerful every time you kill it.

Dragon78 wrote:

I agree!

Gancanagh wrote:

Wasn't the Gorbel done up by a third party company in an OGL product? That is a beholder variant. Or is my memory faulty?

Grand Lodge

My vote for Akaname is in too.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

sheepsquatch

Silver Crusade

thylacoleo

Gorbel isn't in Pathfinder as far as I can remember, Eye of the deep got used once but JJ said he rather didn't so that will never happen again probably.

Beholders are forever caught in copyright, so they will really never happen.

A creature with nine lives would be interesting. Maybe a creature that every time it dies gets the benefits of a reincarnation spell.

I would still like to have the eye of the deep it was my one my favorite types of beholders.

Dark Archive

I was thinking more of the guardian familiar from ad&d or the awesome panther thing from fablehaven

Grand Lodge

An insectile template, and an Entomanothrope template.

While we are on the subject of templates...

A "tauric" template to turn a humanoid and maybe monstrous humanoid into centaur like creature with different animals to choose from.

A reptilian or dinosaur related template would be interesting.

A dream creature template that has build pint-like rules similar to animated objects.

A "winged" template so we can have flying animals, turns them into magical beast.

A template for animals and vermin( turns them into magical beast), gives then int and a list of abilities to choose from like human speech, DR, breaths fire, etc.

An Aberrant template or half aberration template.

A cursed template for humanoids turned into monsters(monstrous humanoid or magical beast) must change there ways to break the curse.

I really insist that the Lamhigyn or Water Leaper is in Bestiary 5, it is the only creature so far in the Demon AP's Bestiaries that comes from real world mythology/folklore.

So its a true must.

+ I didn't care for Water Leapers before, but after seeing that awesome artwork of the Lamhigyn it really enhanced my feelings for Water Leaper and I like the creatures now.

Ow I forgot that Cambions come from real myth too, but I never liked them, still don't.

Daleks would be perfect construct additions

Monsters I would like to see in Bestiary 5 that have yet to be updated from Paizo 3.5 sources.

Fell Flotsam – This is a great Undead that in its natural form looks like a cluster of floating debris. It’s a fun ambush undead that can easily be added to most any aquatic environment and sewers and looks like an ooze. See “River Into Darkness”

Wooden Protector – This is a great low level Plant creature that works as a perfect forest or woodland guardian. These are the younger cousins of Treants and make for great allies or enemies. See “Into the Haunted Forest”

Gandareva, Sruvara, Zahhak – These are awesome. Yes please. See “The Final Wish”

Black Jinni – I’m a big fan of the Genie kind and the Black Jinni makes for a scary and unexpected option to add to the Genie family tree. Add the Zhyen as a great familiar option but give them a more elemental look. Also add the Eddimmu for a lower level undead Genie option and that will finish out the Genie family tree. See “The Impossible Eye” “Qadira Gateway to the East” and “House of the Beast” respectively.

Granule Construct Swarm – Um hello! Tiny robot construct swarm! What more is there to say.
