What is better, rabbit or hamster?

Once my Deadlands/Kingmaker/Iron Gods game is up and running I'll have those classes I talked about ready for you to take a look at :')

Rysky wrote:

I will say Rabbits mostly because of Bugs Bunny.

Rysky wrote:

Mostly Yes....there are some decisions I dislike...but I think I can put those aside and enjoy the game.

Same, I'm extremely wary for a bunch of what they've posted so far (as my posts on the Starfinder threads show) but there's enough there that I'm also extremely hopeful for and would like to see how it plays out.

What class are you most interested in?

Parades through thread, waving towel in blind enthusiasm.

Would you ever kiss a nice duck?

I am actually impressed by all of them so far....that it is going to be tough to pick one for my first character.

It would depend on the appearance of the duck...

My first character will be a human envoy named Zap Branigan.

You have to take leadership (if it exists) and have your cohort be a Amphibiosion named Kif than.

If I can't get someone to make a Grippli Operative he'll just call whoever is standing next to him Kif, regardless of gender, race, or actual name.

Okay...let me know and I will take a look.

This weekend I will start the process of converting those PRCs to Base classes and I'll PM them to you for your thoughts before I release then to the Recruits for my Azlant campaign.

Have you signed up for the Most Important Starfinder faction?

No....but I will be sure to have all of my minions...I mean friends sign up for it.

I'm new, so I have some questions and - though I've poked around on the forums here - I'm not sure where to ask; besides, maybe I'll help keep your thread off the dreaded page two! :O

I discovered Pathfinder July 2015 and never got to play, but only DM'd for my friends (been DM'ing D&D Red Box since 1984, and the first release hardbacks from the 80's for AD&D). I learned as I went with a homebrew, but now I'm taking them through Rise of the Runelords.

Anyway, my FLGS told me about Pathfinder Society, so I want to give it a try. I'm excited to actually play - for once! :D I got my ID#/Card, and downloaded the Pathfinder Beginner Box PDF (I actually own about a dozen Paizo Pathfinder books), and it says to download the "Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play," but I can't find that anywhere on the site here.

Also, I'm not sure which button to push on the site here to create a character. I know I'm not playing the Card Game, but do I select Register a New Pathfinder "Society Roleplaying Character" or "[...] Core Roleplaying Character"?

Thank you for reading all of this, and any help/direction you might offer for a newb.

I admittedly know almost nothing about PFS, but if you look to the left side of your screen you will see a bunch of links. If you click on the one that says 'Pathfinder Society' that will take you to where you can download "Guide to Pathfinder Society Play" and probably the other answers you seek.

You can also check out the PFS sub-forums for more help.

I hope that helps and welcome to the boards.

I run an Eberron game here on the boards that just lost a PC, PM me if you have any interest in playing. It utilizes Pathfinder rules.

John I'll be sending you the writeups via PM for a look see over the weekend. Not all but at least one or two. Thanks for the feedback :-)

No Problem.

It'll have to be tomorrow. Had a buddy I have not seen in a while (he moved to Tennessee 8 years ago and just got back) over to make a table top D&D character, he'll be joining us in September. So that killed that night.

14 DM updates and 4 PC updates and GoT Episode 3 killed tonight.

Vow of Poverty Psion Monk acting as an agent of Tyr. Fun character :-)

Ah....nifty.

I apologize, I did see the PFS section on the left, but didn't realize they're different forums. Thank you for the 'welcome' and I'll go read that section more thoroughly. :)

I don't have any minimums, within a day or 3 of my posts is sufficient, I run a lot of pbp so I can't post in all my games every day.

Did you get your shipping notice (and thus access to PDFs) yet. :-)

Edit: I have not, but no worries. :-)

What race and class are you thinking of first.

captain yesterday wrote:

Race: Lashunta or a elf (I consider it my duty in setting where Elves are depicted as isolationist jerkfaces to play a elf not that way...)

Class: all of them look fun...whatever other people are not playing. Hopefully I will get to try them all at one point.

My two character ideas so far.

Shirren Solarion or Ysoki Soldier that stores grenades in his cheek pouches.

What is your favorite planet, if any.

The stuff that we end up not breaking, that is. :)

Have not got a chance to read them in detail to pick a favorite yet...though Absalom Station looks pretty cool...but I am a sucker for space stations...
