Favorite thing to eat when it's cold?

PF 1e question: does freedom of movement prevent movement impairing of a higher level than it? I'm talking mostly about temporal stasis, maze and imprisonment.

What would a hypothetical chicken ala kobold be composed of?

I need to research the spells more but Freedom of Movement itself does not have that description in the text.

I will come back with a more complete answer later today.

I think it would have whatever is handy...even the 'chicken' could be a mystery meat

Sad news today. Younger sister's dog Oz passed away this morning. He had a bout with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and never fully recovered from it.

:(

Sigh I am now kinda depressed.

I finally got a chance to look thru the PF2E character sheet pack and felt ripped off by Paizo.

I pretty much paid $15 for one character sheet.

Sure not enough to make burn all my Paizo books and forever not come back...

And I get why they did it the way they did. To save money. They should have at least put a better description in the product description so I could have saved my money.

:(

Funny you should say that. In a Pbp I play on this site the adventuring party was headed out into the wilderness. The townsfolk said wolves were attacking people. So my character decided to get some sheep so the wolves would go after the 'easier' prey. In the combat though a sheep killed one of the wolves due to a lucky crit.

But, ...

*- Chickens (all avians really) are evolved dinosaurs.
*- Kobolds are a form of Dragon.
*- Dinosaurs and Dragons are similar.

So, the mystery meat could be Kobold!

@Lord Fyre:

That is a distinct possibility.

Also I now the APG and Legends in my possession.

Anytime you want.

One of your complaints with PFII was (to use your own words) the "illusion of options." You were hoping the APG could help with that.

Does it?

A little. If that is enough I will know more when I finish reading it.

On another note I will Say Legends is a Awesome book.

Have you ever considered writing a book, How to Not Murder The Everyday Idiots and !ssholes Who Keep Making Life Difficult for Everyone Else?

(Yeah, the title needs work.)

Also, how is Floyd doing? (Well, I hope.)

Is Resistance (to Pathfinder 2nd Edition) futile?

Lord Fyre wrote:

I dont see it as something that needs resisting honestly. It is something that each gaming group needs to decide. But that is nothing new in gaming.

Each gaming group decides what game they are going to play. To me at least that is one of the least important decisions the group will make. A group I like to play with can make almost any system fun.

In general for me there is a level of system tolerance I have based on how well I get along with the gaming group.

I would play D&D 4rh ed with the right group of people...and I would not play PF1E with another group of people.

So anymore questions for me?
I finished my initial read thru of APG. It is okay...it expands option somewhat. They continued with the things I liked about 2nd ed.... but also continued with the things I didn't like.

I still dont get why the witch class exists as it it is just sorcerer with a different favor (and a super charged familiar).

Swashbuckler looks good and that is the character I am going to make if I ever get to play.

Investigator and Oracle are okay.

I dont like the look they went with catfolk.

The archetypes look interesting and I think it is a good design for this system.

Do you like the Carolina Eade Catfolk?

Yes. That is the style I wished they went with. Or just of a have a wide range of possible catfolk looks that covers both styles...though I get that maybe a nightmare for them to order art for catfolk.

Anyone?

I believe the latter is where it stands, kinda? Just because of how all the artwork of Catfolk always ends up so varied because everyone has a different mental image of what they look like.

It is not that big of a deal. In my games I can just show my players Carolina Eade's great artwork and tell them that is how catfolk look like in my game.

Just wished to had more samples of it.
