Yes. I game every weekend.
It's amazing how much Spite and vim can keep one going.
I go with stoic serenity...Well I try to at least.

I don't complete agree with Buddha (I really don't completely agree with any religion/philosophies) but he did have certain wisdoms.

Sat. Was fun. I ran my PF1E game and greatly challenged the group with a Ranger(Archer build), a Wizard, and most devastating of all a Cavalier.

@Lord Frye: Homebrew...over discord. No maps. 3 NPCs(Cavalier, Ranger, Wizard) vs 3 Pcs(Monk/Bloodrager, Arcanist, Oracle) + 1 NPC Druid (who spent all of her actions healing the PCs).

I don't know how to help. I don't mean that in any way that would put pressure on you to come up with something. If there's something more any of us, or someone else, can do to help you, please don't feel bad about asking.
There is nothing wrong with expecting better, especially from people for whom you've been there in their times of need who now don't support you. It's heartbreaking that you have to deal with so many disappointments and obstacles.
You are important, you are valued, you deserve so much better, and you are worthy of living -- not just surviving -- but living a fulfilled life as your authentic self. You deserve to be seen and treated as your authentic self. You deserve to be not just tolerated, not just accepted, but embraced and loved for you, the real you, not the "you" that you have to perform as to not make others uncomfortable. You are a sweet, loving, wonderful, beautiful woman.
Everybody does what they can do here given the limitations.
It helps...and I wished I knew everybody here in person.

No D&D 5th ed is not a better game than PF2E (in my opinion).
It is close though.
And for me what will make or break PF2E is the Advanced Player's Guide.

There are issues I have with the system I want to see if they move away from that by showing a more flexible design approach or are they going to double down on the issues I have.
By the with all the extra money I am getting I picked up the PF2E Bestiary 2 and I have to say I love Paizo's work on monsters.

Right now, Pathfinder 2nd has a fatal flaw. The layout and organization of the rules are not good. This makes the game both (a) hard to read and (b) will cause the game to stop while a rule is searched for and argued over. This is sad because Pathfinder 2 is actually better designed overall.
None the less, Dungeons & Dragons 5th has achieved "market dominance" at a time when most games won't have the funds to buy two whole rule systems - so better quality can still fail.

Hmm well I don't have that problem. I do what I always do which is read it which gives me a good idea where the stuff I need is when I can't remember well enough off the top of my head. IF you want to say that the D&D 5 is an easier rule set. Oh yeah totally agree. It's super simple I barely have to look at it to see how it works. Thats kind of some of what I don't like about it tho.

Very true. Though that is always been true that popular doesn't equal quality or vice versa.

It was several things
- playing female characters felt more natural and happier for me.- Dreams of being a woman.
- exposure to LGBTQ+ people and characters made me realize alot of shared feelings and experiences.
- lots of differences between guys I knew. I just dont think like them for the most part.
It took me a while to realize it but once I did lots of other things in my past made sense.
I have never doubted it...not sometimes I get feelings it would be easier just to repress it.

Mostly Google. Sometimes other inspiration strikes history, books, etc.

It certainly appears that the LGBTQ+ community is larger then we have been led to believe. I wonder if society is going to get to the point where I (Cis-gender, straight) will become the minority.
