I was mastering a scenario yesterday, and a chase situation came up. My players were good sports and waited patiently while I set up the chase, but as I was sitting there, making up challenges, I caught myself thinking:
"I wish there were some template chases, something I could just use, wherever, and make minor adjustments as I felt like it"
With that in mind, I went home and made 4 simple chases, in different iconic environments. Now I present them to you, for you to use if your players ever start a chase you were not prepared for.
Enjoy.

These are pretty good! This seems great for about levels 1 to 4, but the group I'm GMing is level 11 at the moment so they would look at the DCs and wonder why I even bothered putting it down. Luckily all it needs is some DC boosts (and probably some wording changes) to be higher level.
Especially nice for when groups get into an unexpected chase scene, for those of us who didn't buy one of those chase decks.
Keep up the good work!

Anyone ever have any of their players suggest alternate skills in chases? Ex: in the Ruined Temple Chase you have Sea of Vermin as a Will (DC 15) save. What if a player arrived there with a working knowledge of rats and wanted to use Animal Handling in place of Diplomacy or a good old fashioned Intimidate check to attempt to disperse or control them? I suppose that kind of derails a chase...
