Eldritch Heritage Master Summoner

Advice

Hi,

I'll be honest. I have never liked summoning.
Having Said that I have been watching my daughter's Manga cartoons with her and she's currently into a More Bada$$ version of Pokemon. I forget the name of the show. and there is another one called fair tail that has a far amount of summoning as well.

So.
I think I wanna play a Master Summoner.
I like to play optimised Chars.
Without doing too much looking I figure

Spell Focus:Conj (free at 2),
3- Augment Summoning,
5-Superior Summoning
Done?

Then is the Eldritch Heritage-Abyssal worth it for DR/Good?
Improved for Strength of the Abyss (meh, not a melee build)
Gtr-Added summons.

Worth it?
Or if you can take a Wildblooded bloodline is the Sylvan Bloodline Better?
I'd only need Eldritch Heritage and Boon Companion to have a full fledged Large Tiger Buddy. Or something that flies.

Not sure what to do with the rest of the feats.

I think maybe ride my Eidolon as a mount to stay the hell out of melee while I summon, cast?

If you don't like to summon but still want to try out, how about playing a Druid? They have the ability to convert any prepared spell into a Summon Nature's ally; should give you a good dip into summoning while also letting you play varied types of characters.

U will want to be a half elf for its favored class ability if u want that Ediolon to be decent when u run out of those summon uses. I would also like to point out that Elritch Heritage does not grant u the arcana so u will not get Abyssal's Bonus DR on ur summoned creatures since that is an arcana not a level 1 ability. Now if ur set on a Bloodline from Eldritch Heritage Feats the Shadow Bloodline would probly be best for u. The reason being for its Shadow Well ability that allows u to use the Stealth skill even while being observed and without cover or concealment, as long as you are within 10 feet of a shadow other than your own. So u will be safe casting ur summons while being next to an ally/Ediolon/terrain's shadow.

Now if summoning creatures is ur fancy for this character may i suggest Black-Blooded Oracle with the Nature Mystery to pick up its ability to add the Summon Natures Ally 1-9 to ur options for ur spell list.

not neccesarily locked into Eldritch hertiage.
Just thought it could add some nice power to a class that sucks at attacking on it's own figured I'd use my feat slots for other stuff.

Maybe Arcane Bloodline would be better.
Get a familiar. Really play up the army of critters bit. A pterosaur is nasty looking, flies and gives +2 to Initiative.

How about human (focused study)
Trait: Improved Initiative and one other?

1-H-Skill Focus:Knowledge, Fast Learner
2- Augment Summons (BONUS)
3- Eldritch Heritage
5- Superior Summons
7- Improved Familiar (Psudeo dragon- counts as sorc and uses wands)
9- Improvisation
11- Improved Eldritch Heritage (New Arcana)
13- Improved Improvisation
15- Feat
17- Feat
19- Feat

Improved EH gets me an extra 3rd, 4th and 5th level spell known of the Sorc/Wiz list.
What would give the biggest bang for his buck?
3rd- Ray of Exhaustion, 4th- Bone Shatter, 5th-Cloudkill.

I figure Ray of Exhaustion cause it's awesome.
Boneshatter is way awesome (and you can follow it with RoE if they make the save)
and Cloudkill cause I could Cast it and have my summons grapple enemies in the cloud.

I think I'll play him as a careless dude who thinks summons are disposable.

The other feats? who knows. Crafting?
Maybe Toughness

In all honesty i dont think Arcane Bloodline would be best for the character but w/e floats ur boat. In all honesty u should probably check some of the guides out there. U will probably do better just following those.

I believe the abyssal bloodline has a very good summon ability as it's level 15 power.

Take Superior summoning at lvl 3 (swarm of eagles!). Extra Summons feats is also very useful(and can be taken multiple times up to a limit). Burn the rest on whatever you want
