So you ask for 10k for simulacrum, what is he going to do, make it explode or something?

You ask for 10k the efreeti gives you ten thousand lice bites. So, one wish gone, two left. Oh and you have a terrible itch. Note also that getting cash from a wish is OUTSIDE the norms of the spell so even if you had sole control of the wish (by casting it yourself) you would be at the DM's mercy. Now both the efreet as an NPC can mess with you, and the spell itself can go awry because it's outside the listed benefits.

Also saying "The dm has to not like that you are using the feat as written" is a pretty poor justification. It should never ever have been printed, like a lot of wizard things

It is a poor excuse when using a feat like Power Attack which is straight forward and has clear rules on how it works. It is NOT a poor justification when THE DISCOVERY ITSELF tells you Bad Stuff (TM) happens if you abuse it.

Please read the wish spell, that's all

Please read up on wishcraft. Geniekind take an exorbitant amount of glee in screwing over people who make poor wishes or for those whose wishes reek of greed, abuse, etc. The GM doesn't even have to break verisimilitude to do it as it's what they do.

If we assume the 13th level caster spends half it's gold on personal gear, and it want to make replicas of say itself, it can make 20 7th level casters (that are completely without gear). Crazy powerful, but not infinite.

Simulacrum + Blood Money (1st level spell) = free or nearly free Simulacra.

That is probably why he said "infinite Simulacrums."

In Case of Criticism, Break Glass:
Yes it's it is strictly legal- even without some other effects which, yes, can be substituted. IJS, that's how people can conclude "infinite Simulacrums."

Nice trick. Blood money is IMO very bad spell design (TM) but that's not really relevant here. I didn't think of that.

Though still, the other points stands: It's gained at level 13 earliest (AFAIK at least) and is available to both wizards, summoners and sorcerers (though sorcerers at level 14).
