Oh My God, the wait is killing me... You Too? There has been only one other game I've set myself up to wait this long for (Sea Dogs 2 MMO, which morphed into not an MMO and a Disney stolen POTC), but the wait here I feel will result in the game PFO is supposed to be.

Never Winter Online (Beta, and when it releases)
EvE Online (mostly skill queue game and occasional Hi Sec theft).
Guild Wars 2 (Just trying again, to get into it, maybe have played 4 hours).
Star Trek Online (Trying to get back into it).
But, to be honest, none of these will be actively played once PFO goes beta!
Nothing is really working right now. I'm re-playing NWN2 Storm of Zehir for the 10th time, but I've pretty much played through every class combo I can think of. GW2...meh. Skyrim...meh. I'm totally sick of DDO, even though I think it is well designed for what it is.
Illyendia and I play a round of L4D2 a couple times of week, but that's about it.
Me? Getting my world-building side honed with Minecraft, dabbling in League of Legends, and going back through some older games on my DS.
The only big-budget game to come out in the last year or so that I've actually played is Borderlands 2. I can't think of another AAA game that actually interested me enough to go out and buy. Yet another reason I'm waiting on several Kickstarter games to bear fruit in the next year or two. I've waited this long, I can wait a bit longer...
The problem I'm having with GW2 is that everything seems to be a grind. Even walking around in a new area, is uninteresting, boring even. It is like the world has too much color or perhaps it is just too cartoony for me.
There are few games I can say I honestly regretted buying, GW2 is very close.

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition was released not long ago... And supporting Overhaul makes it much more likely they'll be able to secure the rights to and then update Icewind Dale and Planescape: Torment...
We're in the middle of quite an agonizing lack of RPGs at the moment. The industry as a whole is in a "race to the bottom" to provide the most widely-appealing experience. Which means bland and empty stories, mind-numbing push-button-get-bacon gameplay, and obnoxious, overproduced eye-candy.
And hyphens. Lots of hyphens.
It is like the world has too much color or perhaps it is just too cartoony for me.
Overproduced. Too much effort wasted on graphics, almost nothing spent on game design and gameplay (two different things). GW2 is the victim of a larger trend in the industry driven by risk-averse publishers seeking the largest market possible. Money.
Contrast this with works of Art which are created to make something enduring and meaningful.
Such games are still made today, don't get me wrong, but such games are not MMOs lately.

I'm eagerly awaiting Shadowrun returns, dead state, torment: ton, and star citizen in addition to my wait for PFO. I just started replaying dragon age origins, but I'm getting bored with it and I just finished ostagar. I will give baldur's gate enhanced a go, and I still occasionally log into DDO and TSW. There are a lot of games I'm excited about in development, but none I'm really excited about out now.
Mechwarrior Online, Skyrim, Metro 2033 for the tenth time (looking forward to Last Light). I also have a lifetime on LotRO, and have Max Payne 3, GW2, Kingdoms of Amalur, Borderlands2, Freespace 2 and Mass Effect 3 installed and ready if I get the urge.
Started Elder Scrolls: Oblivion again. (Never got Skyrim.)
Still have a few months of EVE left but have unsubbed. (Keeping training queue going just in case. Might mine a little. Hate thieves tho)
Checking Massively and Joystiq for upcoming games. Already tried and dropped LotRO (have a lifetime sub, but lost interest), Conan, SWTOR, WoW, GW2(pretty, but not exciting, and the crafting was a total bust). Makes me sad.
Will try Elder Scrolls Online. Might try NeverWinter, although they appear to be suffering from over production of fancy fighting stances and under production of content (from beta comments).
Backed on Kickstarter "Shroud of the Avatar" and "Torment: Tides of Numenera". Those will be a while.
Still waiting on PFO fulfillment.

Maybe your definition of grindy is different from mine, but I find GW2 the opposite. A swag of level 80's within three days of the game opening and a handful of 100% map completion within less than a week. Even playing casually and trying to experience the dungeons and most quests I came across, I was level 80 under twenty days. Given there is no 'end game' and the whole WvW scenario is just a zerg fest, not much left to do. I left a month ago still only on ~80% map complete, because there was just not much point in doing more. Sure, I could experience new maps, but there is no character progression associated with that.
I picked up the ME trilogy and am playing through that (whch oddly I've never done before), and am trying to get some RP going (single player though it is).
Looking forward to Torment: ToN also, but other than that, there isn't much out there exciting me right now.
Imicatus has pointed me to Shadowrun Returns though. Something else to look towards!
Picked Heart of the Swarm for Starcraft II the other day - a worthy addition to the series, in my book.[
I've been spending a lot more time at tables than at the computer for games overall, though.

Im planning to check out the betas for Neverwinter Online and Marvel Heroes and see if theyre worth following. Just heard about Shadowrun Returns, but Im definitely going to be checking that out (love the Batteltech and Shadowrun settings), as well as the World of Darkness MMO.

Yeah not as much time for games as I would like. I have on my old comp.:
1. Unepic (if you like dnd and metrovoid games you'll enjoy this) - (indie download or steam; maybe gog also).
2. SpaceChem (if you like puzzles that are taxing...) on gog, dd, steam.
3. FTL - not played much but every roguelike-like run I've done has been immensely fun.
4. Proteus will dowload next, it's an "experience it" game so sit back sipping chocolate caliente watching the stars and aurora borealis!
again a game to chip a quarter-half of an hour into and then come back to in a fortnight or so. :) dd from website.
On iOS, Vlambeer's Ridiculous Fishing and pretty much played it for a good 4 hour binge and am finished with it. Fun for those hours though!
And lastly beta-testing another game, so kinda enjoying that too.
All small, cheap, indie games, not too demanding (except spacechem), but can fit in a bit here and there and very fun and I like supporting these devs for their excellent games. Because of this I don't get that feeling of forking out a lot of cash and feeling like I have to stuff my mouth full of chillies to get my money's worth! (dumb and dumber ref!).

I'm dabbling in The Secret World and looking forward to 3rd beta session of Defiance. TRION is great for adding content for Rift so I am hoping Defiance gets the same attention. PFO can't come quickly enough but for now I am enjoying Rise of the Runelords part 3 Hook Mountain Massacre with my monthly PF group.

I have a job and a life outside of gaming. But this is what I do to keep sane. I hardly play most of these listed....a few hours here and there. I think that is true of most of us here that have other obligations. But instead of watching ball games on the tele all day, I play games. (Still have to get off my ass once in a while and get some exercise, as uncomfortable as it makes me!)

Nothing, actually. I've been too busy at work (school). Most of my gaming time is spent reading these forums and working on what I'm calling "event templates" for others to use in PFO.
So for now, my gaming time is more about preparing for PFO (meeting new people, getting to know the other community members, making things, etc.) than playing anything else.

I went back to Eve for a little while, but the training queue annoys me - it is so much better in what is proposed for PfO. I am also building up a dynasty in Crusader Kings II (can't wait for the Pagan expansion) and Shogun 2: Total War, and looking forward to Rome 2: Total War. Still looking for an MMO to tide me over. I recently left DDO, as it became just too much of a grind now that I have epic level characters - I really don't want to reincarnate them and do it all over again ad nauseum (another thing PfO will do right). I may try Mechwarrior as I have heard good things about it. If so, hope to see you that are playing in there :)

If you are new to MOBA's let me know and I'll play a few bot games with you, really helps to have someone who knows what they are doing when starting out (LoL doesn't count).

Exactly what I do.. I don't really play games until my kids go to bed, around 9:00 PM, so that gives me about 2 hours per week night.
I work 2 jobs, and I commute an hour-and-a-half each way. I get up at 4:40 AM and walk in my house at 8:15 PM, three nights a week. Mondays I can get home by 4:00 PM and Fridays I can get home by 3:15.
I am thankful for the US Miitary for drilling into me the lack of needing a lot of sleep. 5 hours per day and I'm good to go!!
I'm mostly catching up on the Assassin's Creed series. It gets pretty tedious, when you're like me and can't leave any side missions unfinished. I'm playing brotherhood right now, and I'm constantly running back tgo the pidgeon coop to send out my entire guild on missions all the time.

Funny thing, you describe me pretty well here - only thing I would add is Torchlight II which really is a steal if you are into the genre.
Vanguard, but that game still irritates me. The "pay to cheat" factor is really, really irritating.

Actually I sleep in on Saturday and Sunday, getting an extra 1.5 hours of sleep on each day. So I get between 35 - 40 hours of sleep per week of I grab an afternoon snooze once in a while.

Dear lord, man! I think you need to move closer to your job immediately. 1.5 hour commute is outrageous. That's just all there is to that.

Actually, I was thinking, my oldest daughter is 11 and my youngest is 8. I may try to introduce them to Pathfinder Beginner's Box, and play with them on the weekends. I can also use he Pathfinder Comic Books to add some other short adventures to their experience.

I'm on this same schedule, basically. People sleep differently, after all, with some able to enter into deep sleep cycles more quickly than others.
People will begin to enter into deep sleep cycles more quickly if they are sleep-deprived. I believe the military does this at basic training to get soldiers' bodies trained to enter deep sleep very quickly so that they require less time in bed. But I'm neither a doctor nor a soldier.

Yeah combat can take some time. I mean a game session that usually takes 4 hours ends up taking about 4 weeks (or less if people are active). It is a good, fun way to pass the time and still be playing Pathfinder, and not being limited to getting everyone on for a game night for 4+ hours straight. Also, it allows for a bit more Roleplay since you aren't trying to rush through a 4 hour time block to get it finished.
I was trying to put together a face-to-face game via Roll20, but couldn't get enough interest.
