They gave me valium, a steroid shot and a muscle relaxer.

They also did an ekg, and had to sick me twice for blood. Needles everywhere. Finally on way home.

Charla texted me earlier and said that Me Casey said I can't come back till the Dr says so. Charla said that because they knew about it in advance, I won't lose my holiday pay for New Years.

I'm hurting, but slept a little better since I put the heating pad under me. I have to be careful how I sit on the couch now, so I'm not twisting my body.

Right now I'm just having breakfast so I can take my medicine. I'm having a ham and cheese omelette with blackberry jam toast, and water. Also, found some old OR exercises from the last time I hurt myself, so doing those to try and gain back my mobility in that left arm.

Tatum got a phone for Christmas and now she's calling or texting me all the time. Her grandpa had brain surgery yesyerday, and because of where it was and how big it was, they're waiting to see if any permanent damage was done to his eye.

Well, I was just trying to pack some of our lighter, and smaller items.....but I had this glass bowl in my hand and it started shaking and I couldn't hold onto it, so I dropped it and it shattered into a mililon little pieces, cutting me in the process.

I'm on my third cup of water for today and I need to lay down for alittle while I think.

So, my PCP office got az report that I was in the emergency room on Sunday and was calling to check up on me and see if I needed anything.

So, I'm not gonna be able to post very much, if at all this weekend.

After hurting myself Sunday, and being all upset and stuff over all the stuff that wasn't getting done, I for some reason decided to call a good friend of mine, who then actually started chewing me out for not taking it easier on myself. *Sigh*

This woman has known me for like....well $hit...since before my grandma Ruby passed away soooo.....over 20 years easy. She was there for me during a lot of rough times when my family....was too busy being themselves, to be my family. That's the nicest way I can think of to put that.

Anyways....you would think, knowing this person for as long as I have, that I would know when to keep my smart mouth shut. I don't, though I doubt that surprises some of you.

In the course of our conversation, she told me that I better take it easy this weekend. To which I responded, "Why don't you come down here and make me?"

I never expected her to actually do it. She hardly ever leaves her house since she got her knee replacement....so, I seriously didn't expect her to come, but....she knows me, and I couldn't hide how much I was really hurting from her, so....she came.

She can't drive, so her husband brought her to North Little Rock, from Ash Flat, AR. I met them at the McCain mall after work and brought her home with me. She's here till Sunday afternoon, and then we'll meet Paul in Searcy to give her back.

I haven't seen her in a super long time, so if I'm not around a whole lot...that's why. I just wanted to let you guys know.

Sorry that was so long, and hope you all haved a great night.

I wouldn't count on it brother. I can be very....willful. We're still gonna move some stuff this weekend, but it's light stuff like all my Christmas wrapping paper blah blah blah. Stuff that I don't need to put in boxes, cuz it's already in tubs or whatever.

I can take it easy and still get stuff done. Well...I can.

As much as she knows me, I know her too and she's not gonna cause poor little me any more stress byh trying to force me to sit still or whatever.

I'm just me, I don't know how to be anyone else....and how many times do I have to tell you that you're not allowed to use logic, or common sense against me? I have no defense for it, and it's not fair. I love you to pieces, but things need to get done. I'm trying to make this transition as smoothly as I can, but until we are actually in that house, and never have to lay eyes on this place again...I'm doing the best I can. I am breathing, I'm just....doing it my way.

I'm super congested, so going to sleep is taking a bit.

I have anxiety, and I can't take my meds for it right now....so I'm a bit at the extreme end of things right now. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be a wise ass....not really, just....I'll be better once all this is over.

Okay, my head is just pounding and I'm trying really hard not to start hacking, cuz once it starts....it's really hard to stop. I can't tell if it's my sinuses or what, but I'm pretty sure it's largely due to his mother having been sick.

I don't know, I'm just pissed that I'm getting this crap on top of everything else. I gotta take my honey with me tomorrow for my tea bags that I took.

Then Charla went to Sonic and got me a Cherry limeade and made them put like 5 slices of lime in it. I squeezed all that into it, and then ate the limes when I was done with my drink.

Wait....I had a cup of peppermint tea this morning, the large drink that Charla got me, then roughly 150 oz of water, and then I had chicken noodle soup tonight. I wonder....is there such a thing as too much fluuds?

I'm sorry...I'm not like mad or anything. I'm just...I guess I'm just feeling frustrated because it feels like everyone is treating Medline some kind of helpless baby or something. I know it's not on purpose, and I know that it comes from a place of love and concern....but I jyst can't help how it makes me feel.

I close eyes now, head feels like jackhammer and I got an icepuck jabbing me in my brain or sumfin. Like right behind my eyes, and then at the base of my skull. Actually...my whole face/head hurt.

Henry woke up with low grade fever, and my head is absolutely pounding. Yes, we're both at work, but we need to be able to pay bills and stuff.

If Charla wants to sendc me home though, I won't fight it.

We both have the flu. I think it hit Henry a little harder because he never gets sick.

He slept most of today after we got back. Tami gave us money so we would have enough for all the medicine and stuff.

He seems to be doing a little better now, and not so hot tuo the touch. It was hard getting his temp down. Tami also dropped some hydrogen peroxide in my ears to try and clear some of the junk out of them.

I'm hoping that I'll sleep better tonight with all the medicine and stuff. Just been chillin' at home, watching Netflix and eating soup, drinking lots of fluids, blah blah blah.
