Nah, I'm off tonight, just not feeling too well.

Something that was bugging me when I was perusing the mythic stuff is that none of the Champion Strike things work with grappling in any way.

Would you be open allowing them to work in a grapple or maybe writing up a fourth option that does? I find myself quickly designing myself further and further from actually wrestling as a wrestler.

I think that stems from the fact that Wrestler is a 3pp class and while Paizo does have feats that augment grappling and combat maneuvers, there isn't a class focused on that. Give me an idea for what you want to do and let's see if we can create something more appropriate.

Well even if I were a grappling focused monk/barbarian/whatever I'd be in the same boat.

I'll write up a few ideas when I climb on the elliptical.

Alrighty, I'll be around. Unless Arista sends me out for chocolate, then I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Both of these are modified versions of pre existing options.

Fleet Maneuver (Ex)

As a swift action, you can expend one use of mythic power to move up to your speed. At any point during this movement, you can perform a single combat maneuver against an opponent with range. For this combat maneuver you count as a size category larger per tier up to gargantuan. If this maneuver does damage, it bypasses all damage reduction.

Sudden Maneuver (Ex)

As a swift action, you can expend one use of mythic power to perform a single combat maneuver against an opponent within range. When making a sudden maneuver, you roll twice and take the better result, counting as a size larger per tier up to gargantuan. If this maneuver does damage, it bypasses all damage reduction.

How's Mrs. F- err Arista's pain.

Did you get the MRI results today?

HEy all, it's so so today. I seem to have a little more movement in that shoulder, but I woke up with a really bad headache and I haven't been able to get rid of it all day. Thats why I haven't been on in the game. I just wanted to let everyone know that we won't know anything definite until after I see the Dr tomorrow to get the results, so I'm pretty much a nervous wreck tonight anyways. The headache makes it nigh impossible to do any of the relaxation exercises I know, so I did send Henry out for chocolate. When all else fails....once I'm home from the appointment either henry or I will let everyone know how it went. Hope everyone has a good night.

I'd go with Sudden Maneuver.

Sounds good. In retrospect, Sudden Maneuver is kind of a lame name. I'll have to come up with something appropriately epic sounding.

I'm convinced there's no problem that can't be treated with large quantities of chocolate. Modern medicine be damned!

Considering you roll twice and take the better roll how about, Flawless Maneuver?

Can I send you out for chocolate too? I prefer dark, around 83%.

Ok leaving work now, won't post again for a couple of hours, not that it affects the group any.

I can't tolerate anything over 70%.

For random snacking chocolate I prefer milk chocolate.

But with a nice cup of coffee or a glass of milk, the darker the better.

HEATHEN!.. but I guess that means more for me :)

So...Cyna's horse...what the heck happened to it since Jahlrem's attack all those weeks ago?

I haven't needed it we've been walking everywhere, and I didn't feel like draging it around into danger unnecessary.

All chocolate is good so long as its nowhere near fruit.

Edit: Never mind, I'm just trying to solve the mystery of the ever-disappearing horse. It's not really that important.

Technically he is my companion now because having a random animal appear suddenly just seems a bit off. but we don't really need him right now so I guess I'll leave him here for now.

I just need a magic flute so that I can summon him whenever I need to.

I have a question that's been nagging me for sometime now Henry. What was the purpose of the Elf woman I drained back at the Manor?

Ok everybody, sorry to keep you waiting so long. After being kept waiting for an hour in the exam room while they tried to locate my MRI that the other place still had not sent over, the Dr finally came in and let us know that it wasn't horribly torn and that it wouldn't require surgery, but it was still injured pretty badly and I can't do any heavy lifting for at least two more weeks, and since my job is patient care oriented, lifting heavy ass things is all I do. So...I'm out of work for two more weeks until I see the Dr again to be re-evaluated, but no surgery, so...YAY!!! I really didn't enjoy it the last time I had to be cut into, so I really didn't want to repeat the process. I'm thankful to everyone for their concern and support. So, now that I'm not a complete nervous wreck, maybe I can actually relax and enjoy things a little more while I recover from my little oopsie moment.

Now you ask about the elf woman? Eh, she was just a prop really.

Try to make the most of those two weeks off. =P

I'm really thankful about not needing the surgery, but the people at that office are giving me hell now. Since I have to have so much time off they have to fill out the FMLA paperwork and fax it to my supervisor, but no one has called me back about it and if my supervisor doesn't get it by Friday I'm going to lose my job due to some bureaucratic b+&!#@!%. Everything got screwed up yesterday, and to top it off they are trying to tell me that its going to cost me $15 to get that paperwork done. Since when? As far as I knew filling out that type of paperwork was part of the job and not something extra. If I call my supervisor in the morning and they still haven't faxed that paper work, I am going to go there first thing in the morning, and believe me when I say they will be so very beyond sorry.

Don't stress too hard. You're supposed to be in rest/recovery mode right?

yeah, but it's hard not to stress when my job is on the line. Its all I can do to keep myself from tearing someones throat out. I mean, it is taking like, every bit of self control I have not to go storming down there right now.

That and I don't feel like driving down there right now.

When I was in school I was working at a supermarket part time. At one point I had to get surgery on my foot done and the doctor told me I’d need a week off my feet, minimum, for the wounds to heal. When I told my boss he said if I took the time off, he was going to have to let me go.

That happened to me at a convenience store I was working at, shortly after we moved to Arkansas. I had to have back surgery and I wouldn't be able to lift over 25 lbs while I recovered. I told my boss that it would be a couple of weeks before I could come back to work and she fired me.

Scumbag employer is scumbag.

See, but nasty people like that always get whats coming to them in the end. So, it doesn't really matter. Unless you're me with a temper like the one I have. Then it tends to be a little more dangerous to piss me off. Like I said, LOTS of self control.

Female Aasimar Warpriest 5; Mythic tier 1st (Marshal); HP: 43/43; AC: 23(25), FF: 19, T: 14; Init: +1, Fort: +6, Ref: +2, Will: +7

Ok, Henry is taking a little pre work nap. He said he'll be up around 10 just in case he needs to post something. Me, I just have to sit around again. I really need to find a hobby or something. I don't know what to do with myself when I'm sitting at home all alone anymore. It tends to make me a little nuts.

Do you guys have a game console of any kind?

Female Aasimar Warpriest 5; Mythic tier 1st (Marshal); HP: 43/43; AC: 23(25), FF: 19, T: 14; Init: +1, Fort: +6, Ref: +2, Will: +7

Yeah, we got a PS 3, but it strains my arms right now to play games on it. Like, I can only hold my arms up for so long before the right one starts hurting. It's just really uncomfortable for me to be on the couch right now, well just about everywhere is uncomfortable in one way or another. We also have a Wii, but same problem. If it had been a leg injury it wouldn't have been a problem. LOL

I mean I have all sorts of things to color and stuff, but it mostly requires the use of my right hand or holding my arm in a position that hurts. I pretty much got netflix and whatever movies I have here. I just get sick of watching stuff all the time.

Female Aasimar Warpriest 5; Mythic tier 1st (Marshal); HP: 43/43; AC: 23(25), FF: 19, T: 14; Init: +1, Fort: +6, Ref: +2, Will: +7

It would be different if my friend still lived out here, cuz she and her girls could come over and keep me company. But alas they are in NY now. Her girls are 4 and 6, absolutely adorable. When my friend told them what happened to me the 6yr old said,"Oh Lord, now her arms don't work and she can't stay on her feet! Who is gonna take care of her?" And as if on cue the 4 year old said,"We will! Come on mommy, it's only 5 minutes away."

*Sigh* Gotta love kids

You don’t have any coworkers that you’re close with?

One or so, but they usually have alot going on too. Like I said, we have people issues. Mostly hang with people older than us, cuz I just don't have alot in common with the younger generation, at least not the ones around here. The one co worker I have thats kinda a friend, her husband is in the hospital right now too. Had some lumber fall on him or something. They are waiting to see if he needs surgery. Actually, she just texted me. MRI came back with no brain bleed, so he is okay except for the vertigo.

I'm loving the orcish soap opera but how is Skaar going to reconcile Zahira? I hadn't expected her to be so upset.
