Skaar's gotta save his baby momma.

Sorry for the delay in getting the Witch up. Haven't had a whole lot of opportunity to get on my Hero Lab. All I have left is gear.
GM Henry: How much background do you want? I mean, she's the daughter of your fisherman NPC.

"Feel like what?"
"Like we're being watched."
"Away with your weapon, I mean you no harm. I am wondering, why are you here?"
"I'm looking to someone."
"Looking? Found someone you have I would say. Hmmm?"
"I don't think so. I'm looking for a great warrior."
"Ohh, 'great warrior'. Ahem, war does not make one great."
"Hey, that's my dinner."
"How you get so big eating food of this kind?"
"Listen my little friend we didn't mean to land in that puddle, and if we could get our ship out, we would, but we can't so..."
"Awwwww, cannot get your ship out."
"Hey, get out of there."
"Noo. Ohhhh."
"Hey, you could've broken this."
"Don't do that."
"Awwww. Hehehehe."
"Oh, you're making a mess." "Hey, give me that."
"Mine, or I will help you not."
"I don't want your help, I want my lamp back. I'm going to need it to get out of this slimy mud hole."
"Mud hole? Slimy? My home this is." "Wha-? Mmmmmmm."
"Oh R2, let him have it."
"Mine, mine. Mine."
"R2!"
"Now move along little fella, we've got a lot of work to do."
"No. No, no. Stay and help you I can. Hmm, find you friend."
"I'm not looking for a friend. I'm looking for a Jedi Master."
"Ohh, Jedi Master. Yoda, you seek Yoda,"
"You know him?"
"Mmm, take you to him I will. Hehehe. Yes, yes, but now, we must eat. Come good food, eh." "Come, come."
"R2. Stay and watch after the camp."

I assumed he was talking to the halfing. Mortimus wouldn't know.

Just a quick poll here:
How many of you would be interested in running a campaign using the Young Characters rules in Ultimate Campaign?
Basic Premise:
You sit in your usual seat by the hearth, staring into the flames and reminising of days long past. Your grandchildren, as usual, are running around your abode like maniacs. You sit up and say, "Who wants to hear a story?" This gets their attention, as it always does, and brings them rushing to sit in front of you. "So, which is it to be?" The eldest spoke up, "Why don't you tell about your first adventure? You've never told that one." You think for a moment, then say, "Alright then, my first adventure. It all started......"

Not my cup of tea; telling a story about one's youth assumes one lived to tell it, and that pre-ordained security takes a good bite out of the campaign risk, I find.

Not necessarily, there are plenty of ways to come back. You can relate to that.
Yet it assumes you finally do. You're not watching your grandchildren in some great beyond at play.

Hurray!
Aurelea
Wow Harakhty's kind of a dick. For a guy who essentially said, "I'd let all these people die in a heartbeat if it meant my lover survived, he's throwing the party responsibility line pretty hard.
Odds are if Aurelea wasn't distracted and was paying attention to the conversation she'd probably chime in and have Skaar's back.
Party interaction, gotta love it.

Harakhty is pragmatic, maybe cruelly so, but that's his thing.
Skaar's hurt but I can appreciate him sticking to his guns.
Skaar
Skaar's waiting to talk to a yet unnamed paladin.
Whenever you have time. =)
Skaar
For the record, playing an evil necromancer is super fun.

Assert your dominance!
Harakhty Suntooth
I guess it's anti-stereotypical, but I like playing good casters and evil martial characters.
The issue is Harakhty is he wasn't exposed to moral balance in his childhood. He saw extremes of each side, so he is only used to those endpoints to deal with problems. He initially tries to be good to meet his goals, but he doesn't know where to fall in the gray area when he can't get what he wants that way.

For the better part of a lifetime, Gregario has served Iomadae - the Lady of Valor. In his youth he served in a temple and when he was older as a squire to a decorated knight. As he grew into a man he trained his body and mind until he was a worthy instrument of the Inheritor's will. Somehow he found the time to fall in love with a young beauty and together they had children - a boy and a girl.
In spite of this shining pious life, Gregario faced tragedy after tragedy in what should have been the crowning years of his life. Not long after his 30th birthday his lovely wife died - taken by plague. Within the next two years his children passed away too, his son slain during a petty duel and his daughter raped and murdered by a local drunk.
Rocked by these losses, Gregario began to falter in his faith. He continued to fight in Iomadae's name traveling from battlefield to battlefield as the Great War ravaged the land, but what use was honor without meaning? How could there ever be justice when fate was so cruel?
When the war dwindled to a close Gregario quickly found himself without a cause to distract his troubled thoughts. He searched for work but not many had use for a holy warrior, especially one with such an unyielding past. Eventually word of an expedition to Zahvroma came to his attention.
Zahvroma. The name was foreign to him but it still had meaning. To the people of Icathia it was a forgotten land, full of secrets, power, and hope. To Gregario it was one last chance. In Zahvroma's deadly jungles he would find meaning to the hardships and suffering he'd endured or he would die trying.

An Orc has needs...
He's still a creature of instinct. He's going to do who/what feels right when he feels it's right. His unborn son with Zahira isn't his first kid. In his past (before, during, and after his time in the military) he sired plenty of little half-orcs. A good number of those were probably even conceived against their mothers's wills. He used to be not a very good guy...
But seeing the darkest side of humanity and himself made him realize he didn't want to be the monster everyone else expected him to be. He's still going to do what feels good when he wants to but he's not willing to hurt others to do so anymore (he's very much chaotic neutral). The child he has with Zahira is special because of his post-death vision. He represents a future he wants to believe in.

Also, don't hate the playa - hate the game. =P

True.
I hope my previous post made some sense.

Oh man. Daytime talkshow-level drama incoming!

"No way!"
In other news, I rather like our alignment impaired party in Drago's game.
