That was one of my first thoughts when I read it. Which is funny, because the Magus class is far closer to a Jedi than I am. Especially Bladebound ones.
Totally we were talking about it before that my character is pretty much a magic based Jedi, down to being able to have 5 different types of lightsabre as a class ability.
Energy Attunement (Su): At 5th level, as a free action, a magus can spend a point of his black blade’s arcane pool to have it deal one of the following types of damage instead of weapon damage: cold, electricity, or fire. He can spend 2 points from the black blade’s arcane pool to deal sonic or force damage instead of weapon damage. This effect lasts until the start of the magus’s next turn.

Medium: Vishpirs are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Normal Speed: Vishpirs have a base speed of 30 feet.
Low-Light Vision: Vishpirs can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.
Keen Senses: Vishpirs receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.
Seductive: Vishpir’s add +1 to the saving throw DCs for their spells and spell-like abilities of the enchantment school. In addition, members of this race with a Wisdom score of 15 or higher may use charm person once per day as a spell-like ability (caster level is equal to the user's character level).
Serpentine Agility: Vishpir gain Lightning Reflexes at 1st level.
Dayborn: A Vishpir’s blood has weaker ties to their undead bloodline. As such they are unhindered by daylight.
Fangs: Due to the mixed nature of the two bloodlines, a Vishpir’s canines are much more elongated and pointed. Enough so that they gain a bite attack that deal 1d3 damage.

Distinguishes itself from the parent races better, while still maintaing the flavor. I agree on the name though it's a little unwieldy. Also sounds more Russian than having the Indian flavor of Vishkanya

I'm not good at coming up with names for stuff....can't even come up with a second boys name in case we end up with twins. I'm trying to have 2 girl names, which we have...and then 2 boy names, which I can't seem to come up with more than the one name.....so annoying.
Henry's mom said that twins were on his fathers side I think...and there is a history of twins on my mother's AND father's side of the family.
Not to mention that I fall under alot of the things that contribute to having twins, almost everything on the list as a matter of fact.

Taking hold person. For those so inclined, the victim apparently is denied Dexterity bonus to armor while also giving melee a +4 bonus to hit as the target is considered prone in standing position. Target is also considered helpless, so sneak attack and the like work.
I also have the +2 on my save DC for that school of magic, so it may actually work.

@Cyna Oh noooo, I was outside with henry earlier and we were talking about something...and somehow it the conversation came around to Arista and Alethiro's baby and I had said that it wasn't like we could get a sonogram and wouldn't know the sex of the baby until it was born, at which point with a rather wicked smirk Henry looked at me and said, "Or how many..."
