Went to bed around 10am after watching the last episode of Breaking Bad. Got woken up around 1, work called to ask if I would come in 4 hours early. Was lucky that I fell back asleep this time.

Ahhh sigh, back to work. They are sending me back to the same floor that I was on last week. The one where I was the only tech and there were 30 patients. I hope it's better tonight, because I don't have the patience to put up with anyone's crap.
Forgive my posting frequency and formztting this week; I am visiting a friend and husbund in Toronto, and this means I am using a tablet instead of a PC for the first time. I feel like I can't type!
I have a hard time when i try from my kindle.
Yeah well life just punched us in the face....hard. The laptop decided now would be a good time to up and die and now Henry is on the brink of losing his mind. He has nothing to take to work with him except his phone since the a~+%@~%s there decided to get rid of the tv, not to mention his book that he had saved on there.
I have no idea what's going to happen now. We can't even afford to take it anywhere to try and fix it....it's practically a relic anyways. I'm just not sure how much more we can take. I don't know how to fix this or make it better. It just seems here lately that everything that can possibly go wrong...is going wrong and then some.
I don't know how this will affect the game....but I know Henry is not in a good place right now. I'm not sure how much he can do with his phone....so things are going to probably slow down quite a bit. I'm just hoping you can bear with us while we go through yet another difficult time. I'm not sure how long it will be before I can find a way to fix this situation. It might mean me killing myself at the hospital to make some extra money so I can replace the laptop.
Save the hard drive, you can pull the info from there eventually. As long as the drive isn't the reason for the computers breakdown anyway.
You can get a new laptop for shy of 300 and you can get one on lease as well. Probably need to move that money from somewhere else to manage that though.
Well, it's definitely the display, the wifi and whatever reads the hard drive.

Everything will be alright honey, it will work out somehow. I will make a way to get you another lap top, though it may not be right away. Just know that I love you, and no matter what else happens....we ALWAYS have each other. I love YOU!

It said it was going out for a pack of cigarettes and hasn't come back yet.
The lights are on but nobodys home.
Mom is doing okay...but sitting in one position all the time is driving her crazy. Will probably be more out of pocket tomorrow as we are going to be seeing my nephew and his family. They will be going back to North Dakota soon, so I want a chance to really visit and see his son who is a curly headed little blond bundle of energy.
On the other side of things, when I was talking to mom she said my cousin that's been fighting cancer for so long has taken a turn for the worse. Her cancer has spread to her lungs now. One lung is completely full of tumors, and the other is about half full of tumors. The Dr's have given her about 2 weeks to a month at most to live. So....I might be kinda ggrrr for a while. Just wanted to let everyone know what was going on in case I had a minor melt down or two in the next couple of weeks or so.
You're definitely entitled. Heck for most ongoing successful games with good people in it, OOC thread is 50% support group.
Yup yup yup, and I have to say that the friends we have made on here have been some of the most supportive we've ever had, so thank you all.
