Feasting and cake and ect ect ect. A night of peace, and then the next night will be for planning....busy busy. LOL

So...those poems are a combination of things. I didn't want to use mainstream stuff from like Tolken and stuff, so I searched all over the internet for poetry that was similar. Then I supplemented with one that Henry had written a long time ago, along with some that I had written a long time ago as well. I just wanted to give it some depth.

Yeah, I'm getting sleepy again too. Get some sleep and have a good day tomorrow. We are totally throwing off our sleep schedule, but we still have laundry to do though. I think it's the heat sucking all the energy outta us.
Been insanely busy all day, so much for day off.
Well, Matt called a while ago and I ended up talking to him for like an hour or so. He still has so much pain inside of him, but he talked to me about stuff that he doesn't talk to henry about, cuz that's what I do. Plus, he cant really talk to me about games and movies and ignore his feelings. I had sent him a card with a little letter in it and he started by telling me about how his mom used to leave notes for him all the time. Anyways, at least I was able to give Henry a break and I kept him talking for so long that he actually got hungry enough to go eat.
I feel like these days off have just flown by. Now Henry is getting hungry again, so I guess I'll go make some din din. It's been over seven hours since we ate anything, so I guess it's time.
I was going to cook and then my roommate talked me into In and Out. =(
It turns out professional wrestlers are ill-prepared for planeswalking. Who knew?!
Arista passed out so I just made a sandwich.
Sometimes a good sandwich hits the spot. This is actually the first time sitting down at a computer all day. And it's my 1st day off. Allegedly.
Turkey club with a bowl/mug of tomato soup is one of my favorite comfort foods.
I'm still a little sick and I think Henry might have crashed so I'm headed to bed.

Well, I finally woke up. I'm sorry I passed out....I really was gonna make him dinner....but, after I talked to Matt I was just so tired. I followed Henry into the bedroom where he was putting away laundry and laid down on the bed with the dog...and the next thing I knew he was getting into bed with me. I like just totally passed out.
Obviously put out a lot of energy on the phone, at least you got a good amount of sleep.
Yeah....I tend to do that. But at least he was able to talk about some 'real' stuff with me. When I talk to people who are hurting...it's like I'm able to draw out of them what's really bothering them. But...it does tend to take alot out of me. I'm going to have to be really well rested before going out to Glendale to see him. I think I'll stay with my friend in San Diego while Henry deals with the preliminary talking. She has a big birthday bash that she's planning out for the both of us since our birthdays are so close together. Henry will need some time alone with him to talk before I see him and start lecturing about taking better care of himself. I think Henry is going to talk to him about coming back with us, but it's totally up to Matt. We aren't going to force him to do anything, even if we think it would be in his best interest.
Yeah you can suggest the best course of action but in the end they take your advise or they don't as long as you're there to listen when they need an ear, you've done your job as a friend.
yep, primary goal is to get him back on track and give him an ear to talk to.
I suppose I'm lucky to be around at-risk kids all day; since I get exposed to everything current and currently evolving, that's probably why I never get sick.
For comfort food, I'd probably say a good Chinese meal would hit the spot. Ice cream afterwards - because I never have it as much as I'd want. Trying to avoid the 400+ lbs category I'd be in.
I'm trying to be good and stay away from ice cream. I try to stick to sorbet and frozen yogurt. It still has that ice cream feel to it...but you have to watch what kind of toppings you put on top cuz that can be almost as bad as regular ice cream then.
We love chinese food too, I also really love a good miso soup and sushi when it's done super fresh. Not so much the stuff they have at buffets. Today we are going over to his moms house for some chicken salad and who knows what else she's fixed. LOL She keeps telling us to lose weight, but she's always trying to shove food in our faces.

Fresh sushi is a tall order to beat. Fortunately, the price usually keeps me in line though.
Certain places aren't so bad...like the stores and such places where they make and sell it. But you gotta catch em in the morning when they are first making it, otherwise there's no way of knowing how long it's been sitting there. The people they have at the larger Krogers usually do a pretty decent job, but again it depends on what time you get there.
I love sushi, though I try to eat it only on the coasts. Ice trucks are hard things to trust.
On a more somber note, I'm rather sad to hear of Dr. Angelou's passing today. Few poets remind me so well that poetry is about making -- creating and recreating worlds.
Oh wow....I didn't even know she had passed. We don't watch tv much, or pay that much attention to the internet for that matter. I barely keep track of facebook, and only because I have family in some pretty far away places.
She was a great lady and a wonderful poet.
Wow, being over at his moms wore me out! I think I need a little nap before work tonight. I've been up since a little before 8...so, yeah sleepy again.
Okay, gotta go to work now. Nobody laugh at me, but...I've NEVER done anything like this online EVER. I've never played in a game where I've had "relations" with anyone, much less marry them as a virgin and then try to have "relations" with them. So, if we don't get into detail I think that's okay. I already took some ibuprofen, so we'll see how long that takes to kick in before I figure out when I'll be able to go to sleep. In the meantime, I'm enjoying a yummy breakfast of eggs, sausage, and pancakes with blackberry preserves and just a little butter maple syrup. *rubs belly* Me and Henry liiike. LOL

Thank you, thank you very much. LOL Sometimes I'm in the mood for it and no matter how much I'm hurting, I find a way of making it work. Like, having Henry help me by getting things and stirring the buttermilk pancake mix. :o)
Heard back from my boss about the incident with the nurse stepping on my foot for no good reason. All she said was that she was sure she didn't mean it in a bad way, and it was just one of those weird things that happens sometimes...and now that it's been a few days I should talk to her about it. Whatever, As if! Not like I expected much else anyways. They don't care what happens to us as long as we do our job and make them money.
