Hey all!
Yes, it's Reign of Winter.
We haven't established party configuration yet - the field's wide open.
Joseph - a Gralton Infiltrator might be at some disadvantage in the frosty setting, but if that's the way you want to go, I'm open to it. I'll want to know your larger character concept before yaying or naying. See my comments in the discussion thread.
Chris - aww, sorry!
Pedro, Joseph, come on in :)

I would think any budding designer should feel totally free to propose to Paizo and other 3PP. This years active thread is here should you need to chat more.
I hope this helps.

YOur best bet is to find someone in charge of specific types of writing, Jacobs for adventures, Adam Daigle for monsters, and send them an email dropping your name. If they decide to tap you when doing specific work (like monsters or prestige classes), they'll contact you when putting the content for a product together.
If you want to pitch work to them, send it to Paizo with a proposal. I would certainly include that you were a Top 8 contender, Clay.
Also, there are several great third party publishers that can help you build an audience. If you'd like in introduction to the ones I've enjoyed working with the most, send me a private message and tell me what kind of design you want to do.
