Charisma is a strange trait. Think about the star salesman at a car dealership. Usually an overweight cigar-chomping joker, laughing and backslapping his way to salesman on the quarter.
Or the genial banker who is really fat but rich and successful.
Or President Taft who was so fat he had to have a custom made bathtub installed in the White House (don't want to think too much on that).
Witches in a coven living in a cave will most likely not look like the one in Sleepy Hollow. More like the Seahag with hairy warts and dirty clothes. Or the leper...or the hunchback...or the guy with the clubfoot, or cleft pallet.
There are all viable (club foot might not work out so well, really) character flaws, but shouldn't directly affect charisma, as charisma is a difficult trait to quantify. Many non-beautiful people in history have been charasmatic, and many beautiful people are obviously shallow and not well liked. Just look at politicians and Hollywood.

In age of conan, I played a old, fat Stygian merchant. I was often complimented on his looks. Because while it is true a lot of people may want to be beautiful, but they also want variety. Even in Swotor with a more limited character creator I am often complimented, because everyone looks the same but me... Actually my Mandalorian clan got five red heads with the same haircut. Different faces, but that is near impossible to tell unless your staring them in the face.

Especially for those of us who might be using our extra character slots to make disposable "NPC - style" characters for player run plot-lines (think "extras" in a movie), being able to make them look memorable adds spice to the mix.
In that Hobs is at least middle-aged, visible signs of ageing is a must, both in features and hair color. Also, if I can't use an alternative race to represent it (Halflings won't be in launch and Dwarf avatars might all come with beards, which Hobs doesn't have), I hope there is a decent height range for races so I can represent Hobs' dwarfism.
