Scarab Sages

Do you know if Rick has an update on his "H.P. Lovecraft's Wonderland" book?

yup, check out the kickstarter page for an update.

Sooooo..any news on release? There has been no official word on the kickstarter Update page since January 17th and plenty of unofficial word on the comments page. Can we have an update please???

As I said on the comments page I have been tremendously excited by this project's writing, art, layout, concepts etc. It would be nice for the publisher's information exchange to match that standard...

Dark Archive

Any word on what is happening with this? We saw the Humans preview then nothing. Is this still actually happening?

Seems like their website is down.
They have a pretty active
Twitter and Facebook however.
Might want to try them there.

Gaaaah. Following this project is sooolo frustrating. I understand there are issues behind the scenes but with other (albeit much smaller) products releasing it is gallin to have radio silence for months on end and yet be regaled with announcements about Open Game Monthly.

FAT GOBLIN GAMES - Any news? Seriously, just get on the Kickstarter and let us know what is happening. Placating us once with a release of supplementary Steampunk Musha creative material and then going quiet again is maddening!!! Please don't make this any more a pattern of the project.

The project is still being worked on. Sorry you don't like hearing about Open Gaming Monthly. Most of those smaller projects are written by freelancers and easier to release, keeping our company relevant while we work on larger projects (like SM).

I'll update the kickstarter backers with a progress report, apologies for the delay.

Woah. I didn't say I didn't like hearing about OGM. I like the magazine and have one or two already. The disconnect in information across projects is merely disconcerting.

I also noted the difference in scale of the various projects and products.

Personally I'm a vehement supporter of Steampunk Musha - the corollary is that I'm also a vocal proponent of updates and information. I really am very impressed with everything i have seen so far.

Thanks for your swift response now!

Still waiting for a response/update/post (apart from the post above stating "the project is still being wirked on") either here or on the KS page. There has not been a project update for two months! :(

Bump. Seriously guys - it's been three weeks since you said

I'm not sure what the problems are for communications, but even if there is no news, keeping the backers in the loop (or asking for help) all serves to satisfy are natural desire to be informed and assured.....

I've already written off my (admittedly modest) investment as a loss. If it comes out, I will be pleasantly surprised. If it doesn't...well, that's the nature of Kickstarter.

Just making an an announcement that there has been about two months since the last Update on this project. The project has had extremely poor communication for about a year, and even after much humble apologies and commitments to greater transparency there has been nothing.

Please read through THIS page of comments to see the struggle backers have had with Rick Hershey and Jason Stoffa to update regularly.

As I said in a post upthread, and regardless of Rick Hershey's assertions to the contrary, as a backer of Steampunk Musha, a project that is more than a year late, to see other Fat Goblin Games products released, with art and layout by Rick Hershey, while Steampunk Musha languishes who-knows-where, is incredibly frustrating.

Rick Hershey promised to keep backers regularly updated... that was more than two months ago.

Fat Goblin Games/Rick Hershey: Please can we have an update on the Steampunk Musha kickstarter project. I'm not interested in creating any more ill-feeling for a project I have ever been a staunch fan of, both in theme, mechanics, art and layout. The concept deserves better than to be mired in such inimical consequences.

Fun fact: I actually dropped $175 for all books in print on this one. I HOPE we'll get this project's content.

But the lack of communication is disheartening.

And still nothing from Rick Hershey or Fat Goblin Games - no news or Updates. More than disheartening this is just really very strange.

It seems Rick Hershey is starting an Indie-Gogo project and Fat Goblin are still pushing and announcing new products like their Call to Arms and CLASSifieds series, but NO MENTION of the Kickstarter project they have NOT YET DELIVERED with no communication with patrons of said Kickstarter for almost THREE MONTHS.

Grand Lodge

There is a tiny blip on their facebook page "Tonight we work on finishing up Steampunk Musha Archetypes and then some more layout on Mystery Men!"....

Yes, someone posted that on the Kickstarter comments page a few hours ago.

But why, oh why can Rick not take a moment to give the backers an Update. We had been clamoring on the Kickstarter for MONTHS with no Update or comms, then Rick posted a very apologetic Update and promised to update more often, then nothing again for months. It just feels really weird.

It has soured what is otherwise a really fine and fun looking book.
