Rules Questions

So I'm wondering if I've made a mistake. Here's the situation ... I started out with a Barbarian 4, Sorcerer 1 and took a level of Dragon Disciple when I leveled up.

Will I get two attacks per round when I take the next level of Dragon Disciple? Or have I somehow messed up the progression of the character.

Thanks in advance!

4 + 0 + 1 = 5.

No second attack.

But 4 + 0 + 2?

That gives me the BAB of +1, right?

I dont see how you're getting the 2. Dragon Disciple is a 3/4 bab class, so first level is +0 bab, second is +1. So total you'd have +4 from barbarian, and +1 from dragon disciple. BBT is correct, your BAB is +5, no second attack

Yes, but you don't get the +2 until Dragon Disciple 3

Once you have a BAB of +6 or higher, you gain the iterative attacks.

Basically, divide your BAB by 5, and round up. this is the number of attacks you have. and the BAB for each attack, is reduced by 5 from the previous attack, starting with full BAB on your first attack.

Thanks. I didn't realize about the 3/4 for the Dragon Disciple.

Now I got it.
