Advice

Hey guys :)

I am pretty new to Pathfinder, and I have some questions on a build

I am in NO WAY a power player, but I have not seen a ton of great feats for a pally.

So far, I am lvl 7.

Power Attack
Extra Lay on Hands
Divine Charge (cant remember the exact name, spend all LAY on hands to deal extra damage)

Now, I have a few options I am looking at for the next feat:
Bodyguard
Greater Mercy
Leadership
(Im also an Aesimar, and I am debating going the angelic blood route. any thoughts on that?)

Thanks in advance.

what are you going for, tank, ranged, melee or something else?

Angelic blood route is the ideal choice for an Aasimar Paladin - can you change this late in the game? If so then your GM might let you re-order your feats so that you can take Fey Foundling at 1st level (and perhaps reflavor is as 'Divine Touched' or something similar).

One of the most under-rated and most powerful abilities in the game and certainly available to a Paladin is his Lay on Hands ability. Self-healing as a swift action is unmatched in the game and the Mercies are just the icing on the cake.

I have a human Paladin who took Fey Foundling, Power Attack and Deadly Aim as his first three feats and pretty much went Extra Lay on Hands the rest of the way (actually took Greater Mercy and Ultimate Mercy eventually). With spells like Heroic Defiance he was truly unkillable.

He also selected the Archetypes Oath of Vengeance and all those extra LoH's ended up being potential bonus Smites as well... needless to say I used every one of them every day.

Also, with regards to spell selection, seriously consider the previously mentioned Heroic Defiance (take two!), Litany of Righteousness, Blessing of Fervor and Oath of Vengeance.

Drop me a line if you have any specific questions.

Lay on hands is awesome! Especially with raidant charge!

I am unsure as to if I would be able to change into fey foundling.

Is oath of vengeance worth it? Giving up channeling hurts doesnt it? And Aura of Justice has an awesome ability to let your group bypass DR...how much is that missed?

I do have heroic defiance, though I have not used it. I also have KNights calling.

Liberty's Edge

I would recommend Greater Mercy. You can either heal the condition, or provide another +1D6 healing. Awesome for healing yourself, and fits well with your Extra Lay on Hands.

I agree with Hero's Defiance. Fun spell for you, rather frightening to your enemies ;)

Greater Mercy, Reward of Grace, and Extra Lay on Hands. Also Defensive Weapon Training isn't bad. Gives you a +2AC to an entire group of weapons.
