Which in your opinion would make the best Shield of Bashing and why?
PC in question is a Ranger TWF style, STR18.

You mean a Light Shield or Heavy Shield?

Probably heavy. Light shields only deal 1d3 damage, but heavy shields deal 1d4. It's not much, but there ya go...

Heavy, because it can get far larger dice than a light shield, even if your off-hand has to be a light weapon. Sunblade is your friend.

Two hand that heavy shield.
Avoid shield spikes to take full advantage of shield master.
Armor spikes if you want a second weapon.

Now that I'm thinking about it: Khukri in your off-hand. More crits= more attacks once you get far enough in the chain.
