lets make an expanded permanency list together

title says it all. i think there are plenty of spells added that would work just fine so lets work together and make the list complete, for example i think that paragon surge from arg should be allowed, probably 9th level required.


It'd be nice to know what the cost on a permanent True Strike would be.

well said, i was looking for a bit more tame spells to be permanent, btw add to my list half-blood extraction from the arg as well. it should also be 9th level imo.

Not too expensive.

The fact that your next single attack roll, whenever you will roll it, will get a +20 insight bonus is not that over the top.


A Permanent Scrying might be cool.


now we are on a roll lets try to guess required caster levels, mine have all been ability score modifying (for the most part) so i have been comparing to enlarge person, so i guess we got to look at existing spells to compare.

might be a little op because of the sheer versatility, but if add a stipulation that they only get one benefit chosen when permanency is cast might be do able at cl 15th or 17th.

edit: the existing benefit at the time of casting, thats what i get for pulling an all-nighter

probably doable with the 15thcl seeing as how it can only affect a single target, course a good gm will keep BBEG from being scryable (is that a word?). I could see this being an effective team tool though.

Another reason it can't be is duration and casting time. True strike lasts for one round, max. Permanency has a 2-round casting time.

...Oh, and add Ki Leech to the list of spells. 11th level caster; 7,500 gp. Great for Ninja/Monk-Spellcaster hybrids.

It usually is. I'll search around and find some forum that was interesting but died, then add my 2 coppers. At least one of the moderators opinions on these boards is pro necro. Their reasoning was something akin to ,"Why start a new thread for a topic that has had perfectly good discussion already?".


I literally looked at this and said "hey, I started a thread just like this once." Lol

its more tame than not making it permanent and getting unlimited spells known.
