Can a Paladin be funny?

I don't think I've ever played a Paladin that wasn't happy go lucky, except when he had to put his game face on.
The only time I ever had a problem was when the party he travelled with wanted to kill defenseless orc women and children. He drew his sword and said no, then left the party after they got back to town and split loot.

It's a shame he left. Could have stayed to try to give moral lessons, perhaps even convert a few of them. If they believe the paladin was truly in the wrong, then depending on local laws, he could have had them arrested for attempting to murder an innocent.

On a related note: I still want to make a cleric with the healing and law domains and create an HMO.

Our party's paladin is funny in a different way. He wears a pink scarf over his armour and has max ranks in Craft: Awesome Hair

Worshiper of Shelyn huh? Don't let him fool ya, that scarf is probably from his girlfriend.

Yes he/she can be funny or grumpy.
He/she can even be a jerk.
