Havent made a choice on which demon lord. Odds are I will have the party be forced to eliminate a couple outposts, perhaps each controlled by a different demon lords troops.
Probably these three

Those are the lords of undead, wrath and beasts

Well, just in general going by CR, Hezrou, Omox, Coloxus, and Kalavakus (in numbers), Glabrezu, Nalfeshnee, and (as a final bosses) Marliths or Shemhazian are all in the right range. As might lower level ones with Class Levels. A Succubus Undead Bloodline Sorcerer or Oracle of Bones might make an excellent boss for the temple of Orcus (just as a random example I thought might be fun).
By Demon Lord, Kotschie might also have Giants, possibly of the Half-Fiend variety or with levels of Cleric or some such, Baphomet is very likely to have Fiendish or Half-Foiend animals and magical beasts of various sorts, and Orcus should obviously have quite a few undead standing about.
That should be enough to build quite the nasty set of encounters, IMO.

The Pathfinder tales novel The Worldwound Gambit has a lot of ideas you might find helpful as well.
I'd second this. As a novel I found it a bit average (most of the characters were a little ho-hum) but it did a good job, in my view, of portraying the vileness of the abyss and the worldwound. There were a few places I really found quite creepy.
