If you were to have somekind of a demon outpost, that was going to be the target of a high level party, how would you garrison it?

What kinds of other challenges would you throw in, besides the combat?

Party level 13 or 14

Just starting to think about this, and looking for other ideas.

Which Demon Lord's minions are they? Though regardless of that: cultists as fodder, for starters. Regular, mostly human cultists.

Havent made a choice on which demon lord. Odds are I will have the party be forced to eliminate a couple outposts, perhaps each controlled by a different demon lords troops.

Probably these three

Those are the lords of undead, wrath and beasts

Liberty's Edge

Well, just in general going by CR, Hezrou, Omox, Coloxus, and Kalavakus (in numbers), Glabrezu, Nalfeshnee, and (as a final bosses) Marliths or Shemhazian are all in the right range. As might lower level ones with Class Levels. A Succubus Undead Bloodline Sorcerer or Oracle of Bones might make an excellent boss for the temple of Orcus (just as a random example I thought might be fun).

By Demon Lord, Kotschie might also have Giants, possibly of the Half-Fiend variety or with levels of Cleric or some such, Baphomet is very likely to have Fiendish or Half-Foiend animals and magical beasts of various sorts, and Orcus should obviously have quite a few undead standing about.

That should be enough to build quite the nasty set of encounters, IMO.

wait outside till the demons have destroyed each other then walk in and pickup all the EL 14 treasures!!!!

and lots of anti-paladins

Are there any APs or modules that explore this region?

maybe have cultists on the outside of the keep led by anti paladins, then have the inside focused on things that match the lord

IE Baphomet-Minotaurs, Kotschie-Forst Giants and Orcus-perhaps vampires or something like that

The Exchange

Half fiend aboleth please.

This module has some action taking place on the border of the worldwound, you could probably find lots of use out of it:

GameMastery Module D3: The Demon Within (OGL)

There is a PFS mod as well, isnt there?

Thanks!

The Pathfinder tales novel The Worldwound Gambit has a lot of ideas you might find helpful as well.

I'd second this. As a novel I found it a bit average (most of the characters were a little ho-hum) but it did a good job, in my view, of portraying the vileness of the abyss and the worldwound. There were a few places I really found quite creepy.

You should check out Lost Cities of Golarion and Lost Kingdoms. Both feature a lot of information about specific regions of the Worldwound.

Great. I have ordered the module that was recommended as well as looked it up in the Inner Sea book.
