Time traveling cops and robbers! I can't help but feel sympathetic for Liber8. This show really picked up after the 5th episode. Every episode since has been amazing and very well paced.

I'm really liking it. They do a good job of keeping things murky by having a good person working for an evil corporation and evil people working for the 'good' cause.

And it is always fun to see Vancouver on the T.V.

Pathfinder PF Special Edition, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

And I thought we were talking about the only true Time Travel roleplaying game ever made.

Gaaaah! Cliffhanger season finale! I demand a second season!

I like how they confuse the good vs bad issue from time to time.
Like when she lets a bad person get away with her crime because it will lead to good things in the future. Or also how the entire nightmare situation she is in is probably the fault of Alec Sadler the very same person who is helping her. Because they made it clear future Alec knows about everything that's going to happen in the show. He could have stopped it all from happening but didn't.

I'm not sure how much Alec knows. He obviously has lived a life which resembles what is happening in the show, but he would not have sent everyone back in time if he did not think he could change the future. At some point there will have to be a diversion in the timeline where new events will happen that future Alec does not know about.

Are you sure? With only one exception (which I have my own theory about) they have made it clear the events in the past are happening exactly like the people in the future who lived through them already expect them to.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

No, I'm not sure. I guess the show will still be interesting if events are stuck in stone because we the audience still do not know the specific details. I guess I'm more hoping that the corporate run future will not come to pass, which means some sort of deviation eventually.

The continuum logo / typeface has the letter O splitting apart and turning into more a venn diagram. Could be a clue. Or just a fancy logo :)

Just watched the first ep on SYFY. Looks VERY interesting...

Sovereign Court

It's been re-upped for a second season.

I'm not sure who to root for.

I'm all for Liber8 because the main character is leaning toward jackbooted thug with a pretty face. Hopefully they make her more complex as time goes on.

I'm rooting for Rachel Nicols, because:

1. She's the main character, and
2. She's purty.

Isn't the terrorist leader the bad guy from First Wave? I hope he doesn't become a good guy in season 3 :)

Liberty's Edge

Late to the show, just finished the premier-- great show, and I really liked the end of the episode; a perfect ending that will keep me with the series.

Just watched the first episode, was pretty good.

Though, the season's over already? I thought I set the DVR to record it as the episodes aired way back...

Sovereign Court

Interesting concept. The jury is still out until we Yanks watching it on SyFy can see more of it. Only seen the 1st episode

At least it has a Science fiction twist to it and that sparks an interest

Nope.

He was Bra'Tac in Stargate SG1 though.

Yeap he was both. Good actor I like the cut of his Jib.

First episode was ok however, I am tired of Sci-fi shows that send people from the future back to the past. I would like a show based in the future sometime please.

That's not the guy I was talking about.

I figured he meant Kagame, since he looked more like the leader than that guy in the beginning..

I don't know, I've seen two episodes, and it has a single main character. A little bit of high tech gear and all the sci-fi is on her person. It doesn't hold my attention like Haven.

I tried, but couldn't make it through the first episode:( I gave up at the end of the alleyway scene and started watching episodes of Justified.
