Hex Gunslinger?

Product Discussion

Does anyone know if there is a Hex Gunslinger archetype in one of Paizo Publishing's manuals for the Witch class?

While you can't shoot hexes, you can more or less play this with 1 level into spellslinger wizard archetype.

So, the answer is no then?

I do not know of such an official paizo archetype/class option, no.

No official one but there is a 3pp archetype for the Gunslinger in Kobold Press' New Paths Compendium called the Black Hat if I recall correctly. I'm at work and dont have my books with me. Fantastic book btw if you're looking for 3pp materials.

Is it the name that is important or do you need some mechanic thing? Or is it Jonah Hex it should come from?

Huh, good question Cap. I guess I'm looking for a Witch archetype that allows use of firearms, deeds, and has a archetype specific deed that allows you to deliver your hexes with the firearm attack/damage.

i fear i cannot help you there then. But i think a 5 level pistolero and a 5 level Spell slinger rest Eldrich knigth dose simulate the magic gunslinger relatively well.

You can deliver spells with spellslinger, but I don't think there's any way to deliver hexes with attacks, aside from Hex Strike (and it only works for unarmed...). Even the cartomancer can't hex with her cards.

Spellslinger 1/Witch 19 works pretty well imo, as long as you don't expect to shoot actual bullets out of your gun.
