When will we see 'Kobolds of Golarion'?

The Goblins book in the Player's Companion line was great and a ton of fun, but when will we see a corresponding Kobold book? Kobolds are wonderful creatures and 9 out of 10 dentists agree that it would be better to get a Kobolds of Golarion book than get eaten by dire weasels.

Well they had Orcs and Goblins, but they announced the companion line was changing at Paizo Con, didn't they?

As the dissenting 1 out of 10 dentist, let me just clarify that I feel Kobolds of Golarion book would only be marginally worse than getting eaten by dire weasels, and despite what people say the Death by Dire Weasel Council does not fund my re-election campaign, and its only coincidence that I married a dire weasel.

If you can't wait, you might consider picking up Super Genius' Kobold Kings. (It's even on sale until the end of the month.)

I actually have that one. It's fine, but I'm looking for something more Golarion-specific.

The internal style of the books is changing (and was announced a while back, just demoed fully at Paizocon). That doesn't mean that they couldn't do a Kobolds book in the new style (for example, Blood of Night, the Damphir/Vampire book is in the new style)

We are aware of kobolds. We also quite like kobolds.

Make of that what you will!

Oh no, they are removing kobolds from pathfinder!

Hopefully never, I hate those little bastards

Funny, you should say that, Swny - my feeling exactly for goblins.

While I think the ARG is the place to look for more koboltastic stuff, I'd be interested in a Kobolds of Golarion compilation as well!

Go,kobolds! Then we could finally set them against goblins in an goblin vs. kobold game!

Fight on, little buggers!

Ruyan.

Don't go to the Paizo barbecue, or if you do, stick to the vegetarian food.

Liberty's Edge

"Kobolds of Golarion" has my vote!

Obviously, you shouldn't take a tour of the Paizo HQ until you have some ranks in Perception and Disable Device.

Okay heard this is coming out curious if the cover will be a reversal of Gnomes of golarion?

Heh, or possibly even a reversal of the Advanced Race Guide picture!

I do hope that a hypothetical Kobolds of Golarion book does more with the idea of chromatic-scaled kobolds as mentioned in Classic Monsters Revisited (giving black, green and white scaled kobolds some swimming bonuses, giving all of them some weak resistance or save bonuses to the appropriate energy type, etc.).

I'd also love a slightly higher powered kobold option, bringing them closer in line with goblins, if not the core PC races.

I received my Paizo catalog last week and it was mentioned there, I was just looking at FRP games and they had a tentative release date for March 2013, I hope that this helps. :)

I know! I'm pretty psyched. My birthday is in April, so it's a perfect present!

I want metallic colored kobolds...I'm actually serious here. More RPing options then a trap making, swarm of sentinet Compies. That said. I love Kobolds too and would buy Kobolds of Golarion. Of course I'd buy Catfolk of Golarion and Gnolls of Golarion too....so...yeah. Please make it? *big kitty eyes trick*

The tenor of Hermea would change quite a bit if gold-scaled kobolds served as the personal messengers and emissaries of Mengkare, who so very rarely personally interacted with the humans of Hermea that there were some that actually believed that he was a myth...

If their presumptive draconic heritage were 'purer' than that of generic kobolds (not quite half-dragon, but still a couple steps above even the chromatic scaled kobolds of Classic Monsters Revisited), they might even have a stat array and some racial abilities that ranked up there with standard races, or even 'powerful' races.

Mengkare might have even gotten his idea of 'breeding a better human' from previous successes with dragonblooded kobolds, who are quite a bit tougher than their size and the reputation of their kin would imply.
